Charles Johnson: "Watch your back"

I suspect I’m not the only one who’s massively turned off by the political triangulating going on around the murder of Benazir Bhutto.

Those were the words of Charles Johnson on Dec. 27.

By Dec. 28 Charles Johnson had found his form again, and was busily linking to his favorite politpundits in a desparate attempt to hammer some sort of message out of the assassination of Benazir Bhutto before the blood dries and the news junkie caravan moves on.

Who did CJ endorse? A certain 'Scott Ott' (nasty parents), whose ignorant ramblings Chuckles describes as "serious".

What is the essence of Ott's piece? That European politicians should view the murder of Bhutto as a warning of what they will soon face - unless they muster the courage to confront the Islamic peril.

Ott is wrong on so many fronts, it's hard to know where to start. The obvious first question to Ott would be: have you ever been to Europe or Pakistan, or are you - like Johnson - a keyboard warrior whose entire knowledge of the world out there comes from Youtube and the cable channels you so despise? Then: what exactly makes you think the two places are in any way comparable? And finally: when it comes to attributing responsibility for what happened in Pakistan, shouldn't you look a little bit closer to home and perhaps mention the fact that it was the US government which originally armed the Taliban (now roving freely in Pakistan's lawless northwest)? And don't you think it might be worth scrutinizing the ongoing US support for Pakistan's shady secret service, all well-documented and at times even acknowledged by US officials?

What Ott, Johnson and others like them manifestly fail to understand is that their "bomb 'em all" approach to solving the world's problems is precisely what is causing many of the conflicts and uprisings in the first place. Iraq, Israel, Colombia, Afghanistan, Somalia and Lebanon...don't you guys ever learn a thing? Don't you realize that your ignorance coupled with your trigger-happy foreign policy is laying the foundations for the wars of the future?

Instead of warning people you have never met that they should watch their backs because the crosshairs of fanatics are trained on them (and wouldn't you just squeel with glee if a European politician did actually get killed?) it might be more appropriate if you spent your time doing some proper research about the coutries and people you like to preach about so much.

Step out of the chickenhawk role for once and visit Rawalpindi, or Ramallah, or Ankara, or Berlin, or Lyon, or Dar es Salaam, or Cairo, or Jakarta.

Muster some courage and a few brain cells to challenge a few of the preconceived ideas you have about half the world population.

Give us an informed, nuanced (drat, the evil n-word!), USEFUL opinion for once, instead of the usual mind-numbing drivel that passes for political analysis on your side of the blogosphere.

That's your challenge for 2008.

Are you grossed out by LGF?

We certainly are.

So you can imagine our shock to find that Charles Johnson is being 'grossed out' by politics and political maneuverings after the Bhutto assassination. It seems a bit of a stretch to believe this.

Especially considering the kind of rubbish this man has allowed in his comments section. How can somebody be 'grossed out' by politics but not by outright racism, bigotry, religious intolerance and open calls for genocide and ethnic cleansing?

Pimping for Amazon

...or a genuine Tech Review? You decide.

Woof!

Charles has noticed that his new commenter "bottehond"* is, in fact, a Vlaams Belang apologist.

Well, duh.

*which, per Mr. Hond himself, means "blunt dog" and not "bone dog" or "dog bone" (as we and Charles, respectively, thought).

Found: a perfect lizard candidate

[UPDATE: scroll down for a nice illustration from the Lex!]

Senior Republican Political Analyst Charles Johnson has not endorsed any of the Republican candidates, though he has of course "un-dorsed" certain others, such as Mike Huckabee and every single one of the Democrats.

So here's a suggestion for you lizardoids and lizardettes. Read the following quotes and decide if this is someone you'd like to have in the White House:

Once again, President Clinton is using American troops to deflect attention from his record of lies, distortions, obstructions of justice and abuse of power.

Freedom is defined by the ability of citizens to live without government interference.

Liberty means free-market capitalism.

By encouraging Americans to adopt a group mentality, the advocates of so-called “diversity” actually perpetuate racism.

Because federal hate crime laws criminalize thoughts, they are incompatible with a free society.

Sound good so far? Here are some more:

You don’t have a right to a house, you don’t have a right to a job, you don’t have a right to medical care.

Abortion on demand is the ultimate State tyranny.

The notion of a rigid separation between church and state has no basis in either the text of the Constitution or the writings of our Founding Fathers.

The Founding Fathers envisioned a robustly Christian yet religiously tolerant America, with churches serving as vital institutions that would eclipse the state in importance.

A nation without secure borders is no nation at all. It makes no sense to fight terrorists abroad when our own front door is left unlocked.

Birthright citizenship, originating in the 14th amendment, has become a serious cultural and economic dilemma for our nation. . . . We must end the perverse incentives that encourage immigrants to come here illegally, including the anchor baby incentive.

If we continue down the UN path, America as we know it will cease to exist.

Global warming is fear politics. Earth may be warming, but whether it is due to humans is disputed.

Pretty exciting stuff! And now, the clincher:

Prohibiting guns on campus made the Virginia Tech students less safe, not more.

The Saturday Night Special is a wonderful weapon. Because they should be legalized in every household, especially the inner city. Because, that's where the greatest amount of crime is.

Gun control is NOT the answer to our crime problem -- and not one of our Constitutional rights is up for "debate."

By now all you patriotic, freedom-loving, anti-abortion, pro-gun, pro-Christian, anti-immigration, diversity-hating Americans are probably asking yourselves: where do I sign up?!

Here.

For, you see, each of the snippets above is a gen-u-wine quote from Charles' latest bête noire, Ron Paul himself.

Perhaps the reason for Charles' jihad against Paul is the uncomfortable fact that but for one issue (the "war" on "terror"), his positions are indistinguishable from those of most lizards.

As for this blog, I can't speak for the others who post here, but my own personal opinion of Dr. Paul is nicely encapsulated here.

Quick quiz

Who said this (re Iraq)?

The whole thing has been a gigantic fuckup, obviously.
Daily Kos? Antiwar.com? Atrios? Democratic Underground? Juan Cole? Ken Livingston? Hugo Chavez? CAIR?

The answer will surprise you. I doubt Charles will link approvingly to that assesment.

Charles Johnson: Comedy genius

This is just classic Chuckles, from start to finish.

Remember when the Washington Post’s Howard Kurtz labeled LGF commenters as “vile,” suggesting that blog comments need better policing?

“Hypocrisy” doesn’t even begin to describe Kurtz’s article.
Somebody like Charles Johnson should really be careful about throwing the word "hypocrisy" around. For Johnson to even touch on the subject of policing blog comments is on shaky ground. I wonder how many other blogs have had phone calls from the Feds regarding death threats made on their site? I wonder how many blogs where bigotry and racism are so prevalent (as long as it's against Muslims and Arabs). I wonder how many blogs have had to change the blog comment search system so difficult to make it harder to shine a light on them?

Charles Johnson is a class 'A' hypocrite and blogging's most consistent clown.

No Comment Needed

Sometimes, the bigoted swamp that is the LGF comments section even takes us by surprise. This following comment is a perfect example.

#11 ProUSA 12/17/2007 2:36:19 pm PST

The left can claim most of what is wrong in this country. Only the LLL would hope for death of other Americans (who have differing political views). Yet, they oppose the death penalty for convicted murderers.
As the post title states, we believe no comment is needed here.

Summer of Hate

From San Francisco -- that über-tolerant, patchouli-drenched, Birkenstock-shod, Che-Guevara-T-shirt- and kaffiyeh-clad multicultural hellhole the lizards love to hate -- comes news that a Pakistani family has been forced out of public housing due to anti-Muslim harassment an entirely understandable reaction on the part of patriotic Americans to a vicious act of jihad that had occurred almost four years earlier.

A family of Pakistani immigrants living in San Francisco public housing was improperly denied an emergency transfer to another apartment after someone broke into their home, desecrated their Quran, defaced their passports and shredded their traditional clothing, according to a federal court lawsuit.

After the August 2005 incident - which took place during a time of intensified anti-Muslim sentiment in the country and while the San Francisco Housing Authority was under court order to better protect tenants from hate-motivated crimes - agency officials ruled that the break-in at Ashan Khan's apartment was a simple burglary and didn't qualify the family for an emergency apartment transfer, the family says.

According to the suit, which was filed Friday in U.S. District Court in San Francisco, Housing Authority officials also were slow to secure their apartment in the Potrero Terrace/Annex project after the incident to protect the Khans against future break-ins.

"I was really upset," said Khan, explaining - with the help of a translator - that he and his family were harassed from the time they moved in to the Potrero Hill housing development, first by neighbors who accused the Khans of being terrorists, then by threatening graffiti painted next to their front door depicting a man dressed like Khan with a gun to his head.

Something tells us "Zombietime" won't be posting a snarky photo essay about this incident anytime soon.

(Make sure you check out the comments, too, if you're interested in a complete and utter debunking of Charles' assertions that only left-wing opinions are allowed at the SFGate comments page.)

LGF vs. Bloomberg

Apparently Charles Johnson doesn't believe that diversity and embracing different cultures, religions and races solves anything.

He's pissed that Mayor Bloomberg of New York has the audacity to point out that New York, a city founded and enriched by immigration, integration and diversity, that in the fight against extremists embracing all communities trumps illegal wars, corporate corruption and botched imperialism.

Here's Mayor Bloomberg's reply to a swivel-eyed loon of the LGF variety.

Thank you for your recent letter regarding the lighting of the Empire State Building in commemoration of Eid-al-Fitr and the end of Ramadan.

While this was a private decision made by the Empire State Building Company, I admire their choice to celebrate this important event with our entire City. People have always come to New York from all over the world, bringing different customs, traditions, and faiths. This incredible diversity is one of the things that makes New York the greatest city in the world.

In the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks, our City united as never before - and we remain united today, across all ethnicities, races, and religions. I can think of no better response to the terrorists than demonstrating our determination to stand together as New Yorkers and as Americans, celebrating the unity we have found in our diversity.

Sincerely,
Michael R. Bloomberg
Mayor
Well done, Mayor Bloomberg.

(Update)...and well done the Empire State Building Company for celebrating other holidays in the same way.

LGF: Please give generously

First his traffic plummets.

Then he distances himself from Pajamas media.

Charles Johnson is obviously struggling to pay the bills for his little racist hobby horse, LGF.

So is it any wonder that he's mortgaged his credibility even further by plugging various affiliate schemes such as Amazon at every opportunity? Tech Review? Come on Johnson, who's going to fall for that?

Pajama Fantasies

Here's an open thread for y'all to discuss the earth-shattering news that Charles Johnson has quit/been booted off the management of Pajamas media.

Did his slimyness finally become too much for PJ's commercial partners? Or was it the other way round: Charles jumping ship before it goes under?

Insider comments welcome!

UPDATE: Dennis The Peasant has some thoughts on the issue (surprise, suprise!).

Oh, the cruelty of blogs

Karl Rove's sock puppet, Charles 'Fingers' Johnson, is complaining about those mean people at Digg.com and HuffPo again, who have been posting nasty things about Dick Cheney.

As our enigmatic regular, The Sphinx, notes, that's a bit rich coming from someone whose blog specializes in bestowing upon its enemies the foulest descriptions imaginable: Alan Johnston, Rachel Corrie, Kofi Annan and Yassir Arafat , to name a few.

Teddy Bear Hysteria

We can always count on Charles Johnson to ignore inconvenient facts. He notes that "Quite a few commenters at the BBC web site think the teddy bear teacher deserves her fate" but never mentions the Muslims who have spoken out against this sentence.

From The Daily Mail (11/30/07):

Dr Muhammad Abdul Bari, secretary-general of the Muslim Council of Britain branded the court decision a "gross over-reaction from Sudanese authorities".

He said: "This case should have required only simple common sense to resolve. It is unfortunate that the Sudanese authorities were found wanting in this most basic of qualities.

"Gillian should never have been arrested, let alone charged and convicted of committing a crime. We hope that Gillian will be able to return home without much further delay."

The Muslim Council of Britain called the sentence completely unjustified.

"I'm utterly disappointed with this decision," said the council's Ibrahim Mogra. "We have been calling on the Sudanese authorities to show leniency, that this was a case of an innocent oversight, a misunderstanding, and there was no need for this to be escalated."

Arf!

While perusing the LGF front page earlier today, our eagle eye noticed that a person referring to him- or herself as "Bottehond" had posted a comment. This piqued our interest, what with "Bottehond" being a Dutch word and all (literal translation: "Bone Dog"), so we did a bit of digging.

And found this -- a pro-Vlaams-Belang article posted on a website to which a person referring to him- or herself as "Bottehond" also contributes.

It's unknown whether these two "Bottehonden" are one and the same, but be that as it may, we thought you might enjoy reading an excerpt, hastily translated from the Dutch, from the aforementioned article:

People of European descent who draw the Celtic cross or have a picture of it are, in [Charles] Johnson's eyes, filthy "racists." People who state that Europe was white and must stay white are, in Johnson's eyes, nothing more and nothing less than direct descendants of Adolf Hitler. People who believe that their fathers and grandfathers were wrong in supporting or ignoring the goals of the aforementioned Adolf Hitler, but who nonetheless honor these fathers and grandfathers because they did what they did for their people, for their religion, for their traditions, for Flemish independence -- that is something Johnson has never heard of, nor does he want to.

Charles Johnson sees the world in black and white; there is only absolute good and absolute evil. Johnson is never wrong and can never treat the enemy of his enemy as a friend. Johnson lives in a country whose original inhabitants were wiped from the map and has no problem with such a scenario repeating itself in other countries. Johnson dislikes symbols, and especially crosses, even though these fit in well with his hatred of Islam. Johnson can't deal with political incorrectness, even though it fits in well with his own form of political correctness. Johnson believes that the entire world should be like his dream vision of the United States: multiracial, but free of Islamists; with freedom of opinion, but not for those who disagree with him; multicultural, but with no room for other modes of thought besides his own economic and ethical liberalism and his atheism.

It goes on for quite a bit, but you get the idea.

Memo to Charles: adding hundreds of new "hatchlings" per day in a desperate attempt to boost your traffic rankings is a swell idea, but do you really know who they are?

GOP in neo-Nazi shock!

Yet another institution near and dear to Charles Johnson, viz. the Republican Party, has been revealed as a haven for neo-Nazis. The fascist loon in question is one J.T. Ready, who is a Republican Precinct Committeeman in Maricopa County, Arizona. Notes a puckish local commentator who refers to himself as "the Bird":

So look who's got a neo-Nazi in the woodpile: the Maricopa County Republican Party. This plumed penman first sniffed a whiff of National Socialism in local GOP ranks when The Bird was forwarded an e-mail signed by the Ernst Roehm of the East Valley, J.T. Ready, in which the turd-Reicher mentioned he's a Republican Precinct Committeeman.

... A call to campaign finance director Kristi Passarelli at Maricopa County Elections confirmed Ready was telling the truth about his PC-ship. Passarelli informed this pelican that Ready was elected in 2006 from precinct 529, also known as Mesa 67. There were two slots open for Republicans, but Ready was the only one on the ballot in that primary. He received 36 votes.

Local Republican bigwigs have vowed to unseat Ready at the next election, but the damage is done. Incidentally, Ready is also a prominent member of the Minutemen, a group of tubby vigilantes patriotic border-defenders who have also received the LGF seal of approval.

Surely Charles, having assumed the mantle of Defender of Respectable Anti-Muslim Zealotry Against Those Who Might Give It a Bad Name, will be keen to disassociate himself and his Party from such disreputable characters.

Meanwhile, in Australia

Dirty tricks Down Under as the right-wing Liberal Party of pro-Bush PM John Howard struggles to retain its majority in Parliament. A group of Liberal operatives, one of them married to the local Liberal MP, took it upon themselves to distribute fake pro-jihad flyers in the Sydney suburb of Lyndsay:

Bogus flyers from a fake organisation called the Islamic Australia Federation were distributed through the letterboxes of voters in a marginal seat, claiming the Labor opposition sympathised with Islamic terrorists.

The leaflets referred to the men imprisoned for the 2002 nightclub bomb attacks in Bali, which left more than 200 people dead. The flyers also claimed Labor support for the building of new mosques in the area.

Howard has made it clear the stunt was not authorised by his party, but the damage has been immense. With only two days to go before the country goes to the polls, it overshadowed the prime minister's final rallying call to voters today asking them to trust him with Australia's future.

A team of Labor officials found five men posting the clumsily printed flyers - the phrase Allah Akbar, God is Great, had been misspelled as Ala Akba - through letterboxes in the early hours of the morning.

The effect on Howard's poll numbers has been somewhat less than salutary.

What, you may ask, does this have to do with LGF? Quite a lot, actually. Leaving aside the wailing and gnashing of teeth that will accompany a Labor victory, this is a preview of the sort of election shenanigans that will start erupting in a certain other large democracy any day now -- with, one surmises, the tacit approval of Republican blogger Charles Johnson. One is also reminded of the howls of outrage that greeted another recent dirty-tricks campaign at a university in Washington, the intent of which was to smear conservatives as being rabid, genocidal Muslim-haters. Which couldn't, of course, be further from the truth.

[UPDATE 11/24 - Howard lost; wailing, teeth-gnashing imminent.]

More LGF Hysteria

Charles Johnson decided to post another "Be Afraid, Be Very Afraid" item, this time from Tucson, AZ. The problem is, there's no problem at all. The report about Iraqis possibly sneaking into this country to attack a military base in Sierra Vista is 6 months old AND the FBI issued the following disclaimer:

"There is no information to state this is a credible threat. We remind people to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity to their local authorities."

American Hedonist

The spat between Charles Johnson and Paul Belien is just getting more surreal by the day. Quote of the day today has to go to Paul Belien.

...while Charles Johnson (PBUH) is an American hedonist??
All because Charles caught Brussels Journal linking to an anti-Semitic website. Bizarre.

Thursday, November 15, 2007

Pat Condell

Senior Religious Affairs Analyst Charles Johnson has given the official LGF imprimatur to someone who said this (emphasis added):

It seems to me that fundamentalist Christians, jihadist Muslims and settlement-building Jews are causing more than their share of trouble in the world. World events are being driven by people with apocalyptic delusions, while here in Britain a paralysing liberal guilt allows religious bigots to use intimidation and violence to stamp out free speech.

If he's at all interested in reconciling with the Atlas/GoV/"Culturist" crowd, this isn't going to help.

One post in defense of CJ

These are the kind of idiots Charles Johnson is arguing against.

I must say that he's right to point and laugh at these people.

The Gates of Vienna is a fascist cesspool.

Hell, let’s win first… then we’ll worry about who had the high moral ground later.
So that's a hearty endorsement for joining the neo-Nazi anti-Muslim cause then? Do we even have to quote Martin Niemoller here?

Combating Islam...

....one Cheeto at a time.

re: #240 Ethelred

I have seen with my own eyes the results Charles Johnson and his minions have in combating the creeping tide of shari'a, so don't you tell me LGFers aren't doing anything to combat islam!
If only neo-Nutzies like Brussels Journal and Atlas Shrugs realised that 'combating' Islam consisted of sending swarms of swivel eyed loons over to various websites to spam, freep and troll! Perhaps they wouldn't have to make friends with the Nazis?

Vote early and often!

If you have a moment, please go vote for Sadly, No! in Wizbang's Republican-skewed "silly internet poll™" for Funniest Blog.

Notwithstanding his stance on "silly internet polls™" [i.e. the kind that tend to get spammed by Ron Paul supporters], Charles is urging his readers to vote for certain blogs, including one that, in addition to being surpassingly lame and stupid, is also actively spamming the conservowebosphere to garner support. So please go vote for Sadly, No!. It's not important, but actually, it kind of is.

You can vote once every 24 hours, apparently.

[UPDATE - In addition to being surpassingly lame and stupid, the "humor" blog touted by Charles Johnson as the Funniest Blog is run by someone who can only be described as evil. Unless, that is, you think it's amusing that someone would orchestrate a denial of health care for someone who's dying of pancreatic cancer.]

Sunday silliness

We're a few days behind the loop on this one, but what with CJ's new-found support for sane, moderate politics, we're wondering whether he'll find the time to throw his lizard support behind the US judge who refused to extradite a mafioso to Italy lest he face undue duress in prison there.

Presumablye he deserves only the best that the US prison system has to offer (that would be the holiday resort of Guantanamo, Cuba, according to Charles).

How do you like them sprouts?

Charles Johnson (Ace Reporter) finds anti-Semites, racists and nutjobs at the Brussels Journal.

It may be a blog which he has been quite happy to link to and promote in the past but Charles has uncovered their dark secret. He's seemingly on a one man mission to expose neo-Nazi, fascists and racists in the 'anti-Jihad' movement.

With the case against Brussels Journal finished, rumours are abound that next week he's hoping to find out whether the Pope is Catholic or not.

Thursday, November 01, 2007

We now return to our regular programming

Senior Journalism Ethics Analyst Charles Johnson, of the California Union for News Truthiness (there must be a clever acronym for them somewhere) is breathlessly reporting that some other people are reporting that some further people think that Senator Hillary Clinton might be a big ol' dyke.

Is this the vaunted "new journalism"? It certainly looks like good old-fashioned tabloid trash to us.

LGF Death Threats (UPDATE BELOW)

Squeaky Johnson has a long history of "decrying" threats of death and other violence posted by his hand-picked "lizard minions" and then letting them stand. The recent kerfuffle per Sadly No! is but the latest.

If you were a Johnson-approved dead-ender, you could search for the following on LGF:

#278 Iron Fist 3/21/2005 07:37PM PST

Yeah, the PRC has some nutcase laws on knives. Blade has to be less than 2" long, but it can be a switch. Go figure.

That actually makes it more dangerous, not less. If I have a big fighter, I'll try and cut off some fingers or something. Hell, they can generally sew 'em back on. A little blade means femorals, kidneys, brachials, and carotids. I have to go for the kill-shot because the blade can't perform the disabling strike.

Not to mention the fact that most people are going to wilt if I pull out an 8" fighter.

A 2" blade doesn't look lethal. Go in just above the pubic bone 1" to the left of the naval, yank it 1" to the right of it. 100% dead. No chance of survival.

The target is the aorta just before it bifurcates into the femoral arteries. If you miss and just get a femoral, oh well.

Personally, I hope they stay home."

The "they" in Iron Fist's posts refers to "moonbats" living in Berkely, which Fist and friends graced with a visit.

UPDATE:

Commenter "anonymous" responds:
anonymous said...
Um, that description of why the government's regulation of knife size is silly was posted 2.5 years ago. Is that the best "death threat" you can come up with? Is there something newer? Is ther something that's really a death threat?

If "anonymous" had clicked on the link we helpfully supplied, he/she would have seen this:
#53 Iron Fist 5/31/2007 6:22:16 pm PDT

Are you willing to bet YOUR life that they won’t? I’d be willing to kill you if they do.

Pistol to the forehead OK with you? Beheaddings are so messy.*

My response:

So…you have a pistol and you’re not afraid to use it (on) me?

The response:

#102 Iron Fist 5/31/2007 6:50:09 pm PDT
#94 ChenZhen,

Actually, I’d prefer the blade, as there is a certian circularity to it.

I can arrange the pistol.

We posted the Fist Hippy-slashing fantasy from years ago to make the point that Johnson obviously allows "regulars" like Fist to do their thing -- for years.

Happy Halloween!

At the risk of veering ever-so-slightly off-topic, today brings the happy news that the notorious Christo-fascist hatemonger Fred "God Hates Fags" Phelps and his so-called Westboro Baptist Church have had a $2.9 million lawsuit slapped against them. A jury found them "liable for invasion of privacy and intent to inflict emotional distress for picketing [a] Marine's funeral in 2006."

And those are just the compensatory damages; punitive damages are yet to be decided.

First-Amendment absolutists will deplore this decision, as will looney libertarians of the Ron Paul ilk (oop, guess one of us just took sides... Hi, Branch Paulians!), but among those cheering it today are left-wing gay-rights advocates, right-wing pro-military groups like the Patriot Guards, and a wide variety of other decent human beings from various political backgrounds.

And, as much as it pains us to admit it, on this issue we are once again on the same side as LGF, which has bashed Phelps repeatedly (though not without some static from his Christo-fascist admirers).

First we agree on Vlaams Belang, and now this. Will this madness never end?!

Feeble Accusations

While Johnson is fond of the "prove it!" method of knocking his opponents (which, btw, is entirely legitimate), one of our regular readers notes that it's a little hypocritical for Charles to take this stance when he himself goes around the place accusing people of all manner of things without backing up his claims.

Take the meme that Ron Paul (of whom we have no particular opinion) is racist and anti-semitic. As our reader "A" notes CJ

"can't pull even one example out of his ass to prove the accusation. Also look at how charles calls ron "irrelevant" and says ron has a total of 5 supporters, but then at the same times complains about the giant number of paul supporters at rallies!! sounds to me like charles is a little scared of ron otherwise why would he mention ron so much? oh and here is a little speech by ron that should blow the whole "racism" accusation out of the sky."

...and next on the list!

reddit.com is allegedly anti-Semitic according to Chuckles Johnson. You can almost set your clocks to the regularity that Charles hypocritically complains about other sites and their hateful comments. The only thing is, he does it at such regularity (digg, Kos, DU etc etc) it almost suggests he knows exactly where to look.

Are his 'lizards' infesting selected websites to create outrage?

It's not as if they haven't been directed by their 'leader' before.

What's a death threat amongst friends?

I'm sure Charles has a point, and Dennis Perrin is using 'creative' writing, but doesn't it sound strange?

Charles is actually accusing someone of lying about death threats on LGF?

I mean this is the man that allowed poster Rayra to post long after his published death threats on the site only to have Charles throw the accusation back in his/her face when they deviated from LGF group-think? Weren't the FBI involved?

UPDATE: From the "watch what you wish for Charles" department.

By their fruits we shall know them

You've gotta give former LGF good time girl Pam credit. When caught out mixing with racists, holocaust deniers and neo-Nazis she went into full denial mode, defending all involved in 'Bigotpalooza'. It even got a as desperate as Pam lying about the White Power symbol displayed in Filip Dewinters office.

After being caught out and proved wrong she now displays amazing chutzpah and tries the 'well the left collaborated as well' which is the equivalent of saying 'yes, I'm consorting with nazis but they're not as bad as other Nazis'.

As long as you stand for bigotry and hatred of Muslims you're Ok in Pam's book.

Belang and winding road

Those cheeky monkeys over at Sadly, No! are covering the Charles v. Pammy cage match in lavish, spit-take-inducing detail. Absolutely not to be missed.

It seems Charles is horrified that a student conservative group has invited convicted holocaust denier and leader of Britain's premier nazi outfit the BNP to speak at one of their meetings. LGF Solutions

Four years of reading littlegreenfootballs.com and you're bound to start having a few deja vu experiences...

Sort-of-open thread

As there has been a bit more anti-LGF "chatter" than usual in the interwebosphere lately, we thought this might be a good opportunity to sort-of-open* things up to general discussion about LGF, where it's been, where it's heading, etc.

Here are some topics we'd like some input on:

1. How To Get Banned From LGF: We've heard, anecdotally and otherwise, that Charles' Ban-O-Matic has been in hyperdrive; among the reasons we've heard for bannings are,

  • posting comments that take issue with LGF group-think (obviously)

  • posting "moby"-like comments that Charles think might reflect poorly on LGF

  • posting comments here

  • posting comments at GCP

  • using the LGF search feature to search for comments by banned lizards

What else?

2. Can we really believe that Charles has not taken a single day off from LGF during the past six years? To our knowledge, he has never missed a day since 9/11/01, nor has he ever relied upon guest-posters to fill in when he's not at his keyboard. Maybe he really is that dedicated (or should we say "obsessive"), or maybe he's not fully forthcoming about whether LGF is really a one-man operation. It goes without saying that Charles would never deign to address this issue, what with his mania for secrecy (just try to find out how LGF is funded!), but if anyone has any scuttlebutt, this is the place to share it.

3. Now that Charles has firmly repudiated the neo-Nazi segment of the anti-Muslim brigade, and given his utter contempt for anyone who might even remotely be considered "liberal," how will anyone ever pass his ideological litmus test?

Over to you.

*"Sort-of-open," because due to previous spam-bombings by enraged lizards, we are still forced to moderate comments.

Life's a riot

...or if you're a lizard an 'intifada'.

Never one to miss an opportunity to dress up a riot in a European city as part of the International Muslim Conspiracy, Charles Johnson is becoming a laughing stock. You'd think that anyone with a smidgen of self-awareness would question their worldview wouldn't you. Not Charles Johnson.

Via Sadly, No! (With added LGF comments)

Defending the indefensible

Paul Belien, Pamela Geller Oshry and assorted bloggers involved are trying desperately to shed Vlaams Belang and other participants of Bigotpalooza of their fascist pasts. Here's a reminder of what Vlaams Belang and their leaders support and the people they admire. No matter how they spin their new found philo-semitism they are rooted in their fascist past and surprisingly unwilling to exorcise it.

'A true idealist' is the title of a page-size interview with Bert van Boghout (1916-2003) in the VB magazine of march 1990. More correct would have been 'A true national-socialist' because Van Boghout was not just a collaborator: kreisleiter of the National-Socialist Movement in Flanders, active in the antisemite 'Volksverwering' who strove for a pure Arian Flanders by, among other things, publishing lists of Jews and freemasons, a Waffen SS volunteer at the east front, convicted to a life sentence after the war, later one of the founders of the Vlaams Blok and a distributor, until late in the 1980's through the Were Di bookservice, of German nazi literature and "historic-documentary long play records" such as 'Das Vaterland ruft' and the very pedagogic 'Wie gewinne ich eine Wahl?', with speeches of Joseph Goebbels and Adolf Hitler at the election congress of the NSDA in 1938. The author of the tribute in the VB party magazine: Filip Dewinter.

[...]

About Staf De Clercq (1884-1942), the much hated (by the Flemish people) leader of the Vlaams Nationaal Verbond (VNV), who collaborated enthousiasticly with the nazis, Dewinter says in Haaretz: "He is one of the historic leaders of the party. This is part of the history of the Flemish nationalist movement and it is impossible to deny this. We are the descendants of this movement."
This is the same Filip Dewinter who is speaking at Bigotpalooza and Pammycakes and other racist cranks are trying to defend.

In this regard we congratulate Charles Johnson for his, albeit belated, stand against these bigots.

UPDATE: Charles has more on Vlaams Belang and the Swedish neo-Nazis. Again, no matter how much LGFW criticises Charles for fostering bigotry and hatred on his site he has to be applauded for his stance on this issue.

A quick question

When is it ok to promote a Islamo-Stalinist-terrorist cult?

When they're being promoted as an anti-Iranian Islamo-Stalinist-terrorist cult by of course. Of course the main person behind the promotion of this terrorist group is 'too soft on Islam' according to the LGF lizards.

The hypocrisy of the extreme right has never been so obscene.

LGF: blowing in the right direction

When it comes to blowing, Charles Johnson likes it one way, not the other.

When the NY Times "blew" (i.e. scooped) an investigation by his bloggyfriend Rusty, Charles went ballistic on their sorry MSM asses.

Yet when the Bush administration blew the cover of a private intelligence company which had infiltrated Al Qaeda-linked websites - not a peep from the mighty green reptile.

Caught out again, Charles!

When wingnuts fall out

It seems all is not well in Wingnutsville.

Pamela Geller Oshry (aka Atlas Shrugs) isn't happy with Chuckles Johnson. She's very upset that Charles, after advertising a European Bigotpalooza, added an update warning that some of the people involved where a bit on the extreme-right side.

Well to be fair, what did Charles expect? If he'd done his homework before the original post he would've realised the kind of people involved and would've been a little bit more reticent about promoting it.

Unfortunately for Charles this update (which was spurred by one of his Lizards pointing out a Nazi connection) was some sort of catastrophic occurrence for Ms. Geller Oshry. It was the ultimate betrayal by her once hero. You see Ms. Geller Oshry has no problem promoting and linking to neo-Nazis as long as they're saying the right things about Muslims. As a Jewish woman linking to and promoting the British National Party, a fascist organisation run by a convicted holocaust denying anti-Semite is unforgivable. So her support for this 'event' and inability to see what is wrong with sharing a platform with race supremacists, neo-Nazis and bigoted propagandists is nothing out of character.

She's an absolute nutjob.

Poor old Charles. These are the people his little hate site encouraged, now he's having to deal with their madness.

UPDATE: Interesting to see Atlas Shrugs mention Fjordman and his opinion of the LGF betrayal. Fjordman fits in perfectly with this 'event', he has some very interesting views on the Holocaust and Anne Frank, which Charles was quite happy to allow at LGF.

When hypocrites blog

Charles seems mightily offended that Crooks and Liars are suggesting he got his Zombies to freep their poll.

What a surprise! The crackheads at Crooks and Liars are lying again, saying I had my “zombies” freep their poll. And that makes us indistinguishable from the Kremlin: Little taste of Russia: Little Green Footballs removes Ron Paul from their GOP Poll for “gaming” reasons then “games” C&L’s Poll.

Of course, I never told a single LGF reader to do anything with their poll. Go ahead. Search LGF. You won’t find that, because it doesn’t exist, except in their fevered semi-brains. OK, zombies, calm down. There are no brains at Crooks and Liars, I was kidding.

But that’s why they’re called Crooks and Liars. (And I fully expected this kind of moronic counterattack, by the way.)

Note to the crack web team at Liars: If you don’t want people to “freep” your poll, try writing your own instead of using a free poll host that has no safeguards at all. Just because you’re incapable of doing anything about it when your polls are stacked doesn’t mean everyone has to be that stupid.

[...]

The Liars web team has closed the comments for the thread linked above. Again. Pwned!
Somebody remind how old this man is again? This sounds like a hysterical teenage girl obsessing over what her friends are saying about her in other classes.

Anyway, the thought that people could believe that Charles condones such actions as freeping upsets him greatly. It seems he goes into tantrum mode at the very suggestion.

In other news, on the same day as the post above we have this...

The leftist-Islamist axis at one of the most out-of-control campuses in America, UC Irvine, has put up a poll at PetitionsOnline denouncing Islamofascism Awareness Week, with the run-on title: Islamo Fascism Awareness is Week is a Cover for Politicized Attacks on the Foundations of Academic Freedom at UCI and Across the Nation.

Currently the petition has 165 signatures. That seems kind of low, doesn’t it? Maybe we should help them out?
I wonder where Crooks & Liars would get the idea that Charles would freep their poll?

(...and it's not as if Charles hasn't got previous)

Little Green Hypocrite

Today on LGF:

...the crack web team at moonbat blog Crooks and Liars has been working
overtime trying to delete every single comment that criticizes them or departs
in any way from the groupthink. Finally they just gave up and shut down
commenting entirely.

Right. As Sura 109 in the comments notes:

Unlike a certain little green wingnut who bans people outright for departing in any way from the groupthink. I suppose the pot and the kettle aren't black after all. They're green. And C&L did not shut down commenting entirely, just on the thread in question. Of course I do not expect even a single lizardoid to point this out...

UPDATE:

Read Sura 109's excellent piece about being an ex-LGF'er at Daily Kos.

Bigotpalooza

True to form (in the form of a one line blog post) Charles publicises movement of European resistance to Islamization (in the form of a link to the Gates of Vienna blog). He later adds an update stating that some of the supporters of this effort are less than honorable.

No shit!

One of the groups he specifically mentions is Vlaams Belang. Now where have we heard that name before?

The main source of this 'resistance' is here. And here are some of the 'big names'.

Austria: Elizabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff
Belgium: Filip Dewinter
Czech Republic: Matyas Zmo
Denmark: Lars Hedegaard
France: Nidra Poller
Germany: Stefan Herre
Italy: Adriana Bolchini Gaigher
Netherlands: Dr. Johannes J.G. Jansen
Norway: Jens Anfindsen
Romania: Traian Ungureanu
Sweden: Ted Ekeroth and Reinhard
Switzerland: Dr. Arnaud Dotezac
United Kingdom: Gerard Batten

If that's the resistance we all know what to expect. Right-wing hot air, barely disguised bigotry and in some cases outright race hatred.

Where was Charles Johnson's invite?

More 'fauxtography'

Here's an image-manipulation scandal you won't be reading about at LGF, land of Billowgate™ and the Throbbing Memo:

Police have been accused of manipulating a photo of Jean Charles de Menezes so it could be compared to that of one of the 21/7 bomb plotters.

The image had been "stretched and sized" to form a composite image of the Brazilian and Hussain Osman to show the jury, prosecutors told the Old Bailey.

Mr de Menezes was shot dead after being wrongly identified as one of the men who targeted London's transport system.

The Metropolitan Police denies breaking health and safety laws.

Mr de Menezes, 27, was shot seven times in the head on a train at Stockwell Tube station on 22 July 2005, after being wrongly identified as Osman.

The Met Police said the composite picture was created to illustrate the difficulties officers would have had in differentiating between the two men.

But Clare Montgomery QC, prosecuting, told the court it had been altered "by either stretching or resizing so the face ceases to have its correct proportions".

Forensics consultant Michael George told the court that the police composite appeared to have a "greater definition" than the two images used to produce it.

He produced an alternative composite, which was shown to the jury, in which the two faces had different skin tones and their mouths and noses were not aligned.

Ronald Thwaites QC, defending, asked Mr George whether there had been any manipulation "of the primary features of the face".

Mr George replied: "I don't believe there has been any... but making the image brighter has changed the image."

For much more on the Menezes case, follow this link.

Quote du jour

One cannot be a torturer unless one identifies oneself as a torturer. In other words, a regular person can commit thousands of acts of torture and still not be a torturer if he doesn't embrace the accompanying lifestyle (wearing dark shades and fascistic looking uniforms, reading Little Green Footballs and Michelle Malkin, etc.).

Oh, by the way...

We forgot to mention it, but yesterday was the 4th anniversary of the first post on LGF Watch.

Happy belated birthday to us! And to those who want us and/or this blog dead: better luck next quadrennium!

Gordon's Revenge

Recently banned from LGF, long-time lizard Gordon/Nodrog has set up a website documenting his experiences there.

Quote du jour

Take, for instance, Chuckles of the Little Green American Bund. The most rabid of the New Right’s pretend philo-Semites, a consistent Chuckie would have called for Coulter to be “glassified.” Which, of course, didn’t happen. But then since anti-Semitic ventilations such as Coulter’s do not give Charles Johnson an excuse to wish for the genocide of Muslims (his real interest in politics, in blogging, and, no doubt, in life), his reaction was confined to equivocating on Coulter and bashing Media Matters for reporting the story.

Charles (indirectly) endorses murderous racists

Charles Johnson should know he's playing with fire every time he tries to smear someone by pronouncing them guilty through association (his latest example is particularly ridiculous as it's actually a completely one-way relationship he's highlighting).

If Charles is going to take that line then perhaps he'd better get his house in order first. You see, the other day a teenager in Belgium was found guilty of double murder. The teenager was the son of a Vlaams Blok founder and Vlaams Belang politician - both parties endorsed by Charles.

So, by CJ's own logic, he's endorsing racist murderers and their ideological (and biological) parents. Nice!

King of made up controversy

...a lot of people want to discuss the latest manufactured Media Matters controversy

Do they Charles? Perhaps it's because some of your Saurian hoarde actually agree with her. Let them, but let's just pick you up on that whole 'manufactured controversy' thing. Aren't you the Charles Johnson who got his panties in a twist and promoted the hell out of these stories?

1. OMG!! the Muslims are taking over the stock exchange!!

2. New Jersey is under attack, duck and cover!!

3. Hijab! Hijab! Hijab!

4. Jamil Hussein anyone?

5. Crescents and coronaries

That's just a quick list of five, who could forget the other manufactured outrages, controversies and moronic talking points. There's always the UAE Port Scandal, digg, the numerous Daily Kos rants...etc etc.

Charlie boy, take a chill pill.

Red meat

For no reason discernible to us, today Republican blogger Charles Johnson directed his minions (twice) to a photo essay created by longtime lizardoid operative "Zombietime," in which he/she documents various goings-on at San Francisco's Folsom Street Fair.

And the lizards responded. Boy, did they ever! As of this writing, there are 574 comments on the thread. Compare with earlier threads:

A thread about Ayaan Hirsi Ali - 138
A thread about charges being dropped against the last of the Marines accused of massacring civilians at Haditha - 88
A thread about the arrest of an al-Qaeda financier in Iraq - 58
A thread about the Democratic mayor of Atlantic City embellishing his military record - 136

Even a thread about Republican blogger Charles Johnson's arch-enemy Google can muster no more than 425 comments. And a slightly earlier thread about Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is languishing well under 150.

We will leave it to you, dear readers, to ponder just why the saurian horde are so inordinately interested in depictions of poorly blurred-out penises, buttocks, and pudenda -- and not in the travails of Ayaan Hirsi Ali being terrorized by Muslims, US Marines fighting Muslims, Muslims funding the anti-American insurgency, etc.

Heathers

As we noted earlier this week, an increasing number of long-time lizardoids are abandoning LGF and recongregating at Gulf Coast Pundit, where they indulge in copious Charles-bashing and gleefully predict who among the lizards will be the next to be banned for the "crime" of cross-posting at GCP and LGF. The sticky thread in which LGF refugees introduce themselves to the group reads like a veritable Who's Who of disenchanted denizens of "AtS" ("Across the Street") as they refer to LGF.

One thread in particular caught our eye. It's in reference to this post, in which Charles coyly chides Fox and other news outlets for using "his" research without compensating him.

Writes psychotic ex-Lizard "rayra:"

Betting the PJM* finances have run out and when he looked around he saw his declining stats and talent pool he panicked. And started looking for someone to blame. And that’s where the crapola about ‘sabotage’ comes in. As if it was the result of some devious plan and not his own coddling of psychotics.

Leaving aside the fact that "rayra" is decidedly a few tacos short of a combination plate -- elsewhere at GCP, he/she has expressed a sincere desire to see us, the authors of this blog, murdered in some particularly cruel and inventive way** -- he/she does have a point, one we and others have been repeating for years, namely that the emperor of LGF is, in fact, stark raving nekkid.

And just to place a few more faggots*** on the pyre, it might interest the GCPers and whomever else stops by here that the author of these words is a registered Lizard in good standing, i.e. one whose posting activities at LGF and elsewhere have managed to remain below Charles' radar.

Have a nice day, Charles!

Fauxtography?

Sadly, no! It's just straight up Wingnut stupidity.

Oh and here's a bit of revisionism from Chuckles.

Premature ejaculations

With a scant 13 months remaining until the U.S. Presidential election, Republican blogger Charles Johnson is already busy deploying his full arsenal of partisan puffery. Yesterday Republican blogger Charles Johnson turned in a stellar performance, devoting no fewer than six posts to a Democratic debate -- excuse us, "'debate'", on MSNBC. Here you will find lizardoid tactics at their most puerile: intentional misspellings (e.g. "Democrat Party", painfully unfunny nicknames, straw men, libelous accusations of treason, "scare quotes," and copious but tenuous associations with whomever the latest subject of LGF's Two Minutes Hate might be (yesterday Huffington; today Soros; tomorrow - who knows?).

Frankly, we're a bit worried. What if Republican blogger Charles Johnson -- like the Presidential campaign of, say, John McCain -- peaks too early? What will Republican blogger Charles Johnson be left with next October, which is when most normal Americans will actually start caring about the election, if he blows his wad now (pardon the expression)?

And if we're reaching this level of invective now, what might the saurian horde be driven to after an entire year's worth of rhetorical escalation by the likes of Republican blogger Charles Johnson?

Meanwhile, in Poland

The EU has declared that it will refuse to provide funding to Radio Maryja, an ultra-conservative Catholic radio station that features anti-Semitic programming.

Jerusalem Post:

The European Union is highly unlikely to fund a Polish ultra-nationalist Catholic radio station which is infamous for its anti-Semitic programming, a European Union official said Monday.

The chances that the controversial Polish radio station Radio Maryja would get EU funding for the expansion of a journalism school are "close to zero," a European Commission spokesman in Israel said.

[...]

The issue comes just weeks after Israel and American Jewish groups urged the Polish government to act following the most recent anti-Semitic remarks by the powerful head of the radio station, Father Tadeusz Rydzyk.

Rydzyk reportedly accused the Jews of greed in a potential government compensation deal on confiscated property, and denounced Polish President Lech Kaczynski as a "fraudster who is in the pockets of the Jewish lobby."

Given the lizards' inordinate fondness for Poland, and their passionate hatred for the EU, we can expect this interesting bit of news to be mentioned on LGF in, approximately, never.

Why are you so afraid....?

Forget about the keyboard commando's hammering away at their computers, Lee Bollinger, president of Columbia University delivers more that they ever will in his introduction to President Ahmadinejad. Did Charles Johnson even come close to such effective criticism in his posting frenzy about the visit?

The good and the bad

Most people realize that you can't place every person into one of two categories: good or bad. Sure, there are everyday tropes which refer exclusively to one or the other (e.g. Mother Teresa, Hitler), but anyone with any understanding of history knows that it's simply not useful for understanding events to apply simplistic labels because they cover up genuinely useful knowledge which might help you make the right decision on a given issue.

And yet, there are some people who persist in coloring the world in black and white. Bush is Hitler. Ahmadinejad is Hitler. It's idiotic, but it appeals to certain pre-cretaceous throwbacks who think hooting from the safety of their perch is the height of political sophistication and who shit on those who do the dirty work of actually engaging with issues on the ground.

Witness Charles Johnson and his lizard gang. While other people managed to subject Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to a scrutiny he is likely never to have endured before, Johnson and Co. display the cowardly attitude normally the preserve of the Iranian and American president: pontificating about other people from afar, never daring to actually confront them for fear of being shown up as an ignorant fool.

Ahmadinejad Derangement Syndrome

Wow. Charles may be on the other side of the continent, but the whiff of Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's collar-less shirts in New York is enough to drive a lizard crazy!

CJ has so far put up 9 (NINE!) posts on Ahmadinejad's visit today, and counting. He's virtually frothing at the mouth that nobody has shot at Mr A yet. You have to wonder what Charles feels so threatened by. Doesn't he believe New Yorkers can make up their own mind about this guy?

As an aside, it's ironic how he describes a 55%-45% poll difference as "not much". Does he realize by how many votes Bush allegedly won the 2000 presidential election?

Another day, another faux outrage!

Visitor numbers must be down over at LGF.

Chuckie is up in arms about the fact that the "terror-sponsoring Arab state of Qatar and UAE capital Dubai have now gained control of the London Stock Exchange." As usual if you scratch away at the story it adds something extra that Charlie wouldn't want to discuss.

Who sold the decisive share to these states? Was it Clinton? MoveOn? CAIR? Daily Kos? Digg? One of Charles' other enemies?

Nope.

It was that famous left-wing organisation NASDAQ. So if you're going to blame anyone for selling the London to the "terror-sponsoring Arab state of Qatar and UAE capital Dubai have now gained control of the London Stock Exchange" it's the capitalist system. It has shades of the 'Port Scandal', another faux outrage that was something over nothing.

UPDATE: am in the comments brings us another way in which Charles makes himself look and ass with this post.

I'm amazed LGF Watch didnt mention this about Qatar, it hosts the Central Command (CentCom) headquarters for U.S. forces in the region! Thousands of U.S. troops, equipment, jet fighters are based there and were used in the war in Iraq and Afghanistan (and *may* be used in an upcoming war against Iran)! The UAE also hosts U.S. military facilities that are crucial for U.S. operations in the Gulf.

Charles Johnson has just demonstrated that he is the most clueless imbecile that has ever blogged on the net. I'm sure someone sooner or later will point this out to him, but too late, he has certified himself a complete ignoramus with this post.
Charles Johnson, probably the most clueless imbecile that has ever blogged on the net? To be fair, Pamela Geller Oshry and Debbie Schlussel are still ahead of him but as his once loyal 'lizards' are abandoning ship and things are getting desperate, who knows?

It's always about 9/11 in Wingnut World

I visited LGF to check out the latest faux-outrage about the Ahmadinejad visit and found this tidbit about one of the rallies:

Speakers include Debra Burlingame, sister of Charles F. “Chic” Burlingame,III, (Capt., USNR, Ret.), pilot of American Airlines Flight 77 that crashed into the Pentagon on 9/11.

It doesn't matter that Iran condemned the 9-11 attacks or that it helped get rid of the Taliban, if the pseudo-conservatives can bring up 9-11, they can raise the fear level.

More of Charles' former minions are coming out of the woodworks and discussing how and why they were banned from LGF. It will be of little surprise to our readers that the most frequent cause for banning is outright dissent against the LGF party line.

Green Footballs vs Greenspan

If anyone needs proof what a Republican Party dittohead Charles Johnson has become, take a look at his 19-word dissection of Alan Greenspan's 531-page memoir, The Age of Turbulence.

Johnson basically accuses Greenspan _ hardly the left's favorite uncle _ of pandering to "Moonbat" sentiments by saying that one of the main motivations for going to war with Iraq was because of the country's vast oil reserves.

Johnson provides no arguments for his insinuation that the 81-year-old Greenspan is making this claim in order to raise sales of his book. That, of course, would be difficult to prove. Greenspan has had a fairly lucratice career and still retains a number of very well-paid advisory positions from which he is likely to earn a lot more than from sales of his memoirs, which will only interest a tiny minority anyway.

But such considerations don't stop Johnson from parroting the Republican Party line, which is mainly aimed at drowning out another of Greenspan's key claims:

That it was Bill Clinton - above all presidents Greenspan worked with _ who maintain "a consistent, disciplined focus on long-term economic growth."

Ouch, that's gotta hurt the Bushies...

He's Gonna Get Someone Hurt....

Charles Johnson has always proffered alternative targets for his 24/7 hate-a-thon. When he's running low on fresh Mooslimb meat he reliably turns to the "Moonbats", in his lexicon anyone who doesn't agree with The Commander. Kos & commenters are usual targets. Always careful not to say too much himself, by a process akin to fruit-fly genetics, restricting membership and banning "lizards" who don't toe the line, Charles gets stuff said for him. He’s a maestro, we’ll give him that.

No-one can say the comments below are "cherry-picked", because they were grabbed as whole bushes, in a process that took a minute or so. This is the emerging face of LGF, 2.0, if you like, where Charles’s trained fruit-lizards fantasize about killing (and Zog knows what else) their fellow citizens. As the pictures here show, some Lizards doesn’t just fantasize, they're busy practicing.

As well trained as he has the Lizards, Johnson doesn't have to do much more than tinkle the bell to set them off. In this example, he references the "AQ in Iraq" news about the bombing of Sheik Abu Risa, as a recent killer of US Troops an unlikely candidate for Lizard grief and rage. A few remarks from Kos commenters are enough to get pulses pounding, knuckles white as they grip the mice and pound-out spittle-flecked missives of rage.

The danger is that one day, one of these acolytes, crazed by years of preparing to repel the Muzzies who never showed up, will snap and do bad things with guns to someone who Chuck profiles as "Moonbat". A Volvo might do it. Or granny-glasses. If that happens, the blood will be on Johnson, just like he was pulling the trigger himself.

Oops

In March of this year, longtime LGF favorite and Pajamas Media contributor Paul Beliën praised German anti-feminist author and talk-show hostess Eva Herman, who had written a book urging today's German woman to remain in her Küche with her Kinder except when she is attending her local Kirche.

Today Frau Herman, who incidentally has been married four times, was fired from her job at the Nord-Deutsche Rundfunk for making comments such as:

values like the family, children and motherhood, which were promoted in the Third Reich too, were later scrapped by the 68ers

as well as praising the Nazis for the "high regard" they held for motherhood, Sophie's Choice notwithstanding.

We assume Dhr. Beliën is currently too busy snorkeling through the large vat of saliva he has produced during the current Belgian government crisis to pay much attention to Frau Herrmann's travails. But just imagine if a German imam had said such a thing.

Never one to miss a 'Muslim angle'......

We at LGFW find it touching that Charles Johnson finds time to write about virulent racists (instead of accomodating them in his comments section). However, isn't it just typical that he does so whilst pointing to an article which blames the Israeli Law of Return not being narrow enough in its discrimination, the Israeli government for it's 'liberal' dealings with Palestinians and the Palestinians themselves for the neo-Nazis problem? Could Charles be any more obvious as to his own prejudice?

America's Enormous Problem

....but then again, some mosques are preaching the 'wrong' type of Islam in Britain. So everything's hunky dory with Charles and his minions.

Monday, September 03, 2007

Why are Muslims always whining about being victimised?

Possibly it has something to do with incidents like this....which I'm sure some of the swivel-eyed loons over at LGF will applaud.

Hate crime yobs target Muslims

Revolting thugs urinated on to shoes and clothes belonging to worshipping Muslims.

Police are treating the incident as a hate crime against Bath's Muslim community and say they are determined to track down the perpetrators.

The two male offenders entered the lobby of the Bath Islamic Centre in Pierrepont Street during evening prayers, before urinating on clothing and shoes left in the entrance by worshippers.

Their mindless vandalism has disgusted members of the mosque and left the belongings of five people damaged.

In an attempt to bring those responsible to justice, Avon and Somerset police have now released CCTV images of the yobs.

The unprovoked attack has shocked Muslim leaders and campaigners for racial equality in Bath.

Playing with children

One of the most despicable facets of Charles Johnson's weblog, Little Green Footballs, is that he uses it to demonize a whole people - men, women and children alike.

By making it appear as if even the youngest Palestinian is a potential terrorist threat, Johnson can justify their indiscriminate slaughter in a war they never asked for.

Occasionally, though, even LGF will remain silent when a particularly grim case of injustice against Palestinians surfaces that cannot - by any stretch of the imagination - be blamed on the victim.

Such as the story of Marya Aman.

You're having a laugh...

Summer is so nice and LGF is so dull that we rarely get round to reading that dreary site these days. So instead, from our email inbox, two little web items that might be of interest:

STRETCH K-PAD, formerly David Gregory.

A few months ago K-PAD performed a subservient mating dance with Alpha male Rove. Today, on our liberal teevees, K-PAD shows the stuff he's made of -- wet tissue:

MR. GREGORY: It’s not about it being a tough war. It’s the handling of the war.

MR. ROVE: May I finish? I understand, and I’m going to get to your question, if you wouldn’t interrupt.

MR. GREGORY: OK.

MR. ROVE: Think about a year ago. We had the leader of the Democratic Party in the Senate say Anbar province is gone, the war is lost. And today we know from every report that Anbar province, because of the—(BLAH BLAH DECIDERS PLAN IS GREAT SUCCESS)
.... Let’s have the ability to stand back and understand that wars are difficult.

MR. GREGORY: Mm-hmm.

Quite a mouthful there, K-PAD.

Getting round to the important stuff

After spending all day selectively posting about Wikipedia edits he finds amusing, Charles Johnson eventually got round to checking LGFWatch and must have been a little bit embarrassed, or else he wouldn't have posted about the bombing in northern Iraq.

So, how does he square this act of ethnic cleansing with the great optimism about the Iraq war he has been displaying so far? He doesn't. No analysis, no reflection, just pointless Californian platitudes...

Desperate for hits?

First it was digg.com, now Wikipedia (so much so it's now called Wiki-Gate in wingnut world).

Who'll be next on the list for Charles Johnson and swivel-eyed loons online jihad?

PS As noted below, the Iraq War's deadliest bombings killed 500, but nice to see Chuckie has the big controversy in his sights.

Deadly silence

Although Charles is currently jerking himself into a lather over Wikipedia edits (what's YOUR IP, Johnson?), he did manage to write about an attempted bomb attack in Morocco, and the torching of a California mosque.

Is the great lizard finally becoming aware of the real world?

Not so. Witness his total silence on the killing of nearly 200 people in American Occupied Iraq last night.

Charles Johnson: Looking the other way

When Charles Johnson reports blogs about events in the real world, you can be sure he's only going to talk about half the story:

Schools opening in Baghdad, not schools being bombed.

Corrupt Democrats, not corrupt Republicans.

Media errors, not military errors.

For the past week or so CJ has been on the case of The New Republic and Scott Beauchamp, a soldier who apparently embellished some of his articles for the magazine.

The story is a feast for Wingnut dittoheads like Johnson, because in one fell swoop it neatly makes all bad news out of Iraq look like a lie.

Woe if anyone were to mention another series of reports from Iraq, in another 'leftie rag' (this time The Nation), which can't be so easily dismissed. Don't expect to read about it on LGF...

A little news roundup

Pamela and Chuckie's children come home to roost: Arab boy bound & beaten in class, suit says

Don't expect this news to appear (unspun) on LGF: Most Muslims reject suicide bombings

And an LGFer finally shows some sanity:

#39 WrathOfG-d

re: #26 Burkha, Flies and a Shiekh

There is absolutely ZERO reason to believe that the person that committed the Space Shuttle Sabotage was a Muslim.

Its this kneejerk, stupid, anti-Muslim reaction that gives LGF a bad name & takes away any credability we, who are concerned about the ACTUAL Islamist threat against the West, have!

You sound like someone with BDS. "What? Someone crashed their car into a home? ....I bet it was a Muslim?" "I stubbed my toe, I bet a Muslim put the chair there."

Charles Johnson, Hypocrisy Defined

Thanks to alert reader "anonymous" for reminder about Johnson's "stalker" post earlier this year.

UPDATE:
Frequent commenter "timur" congratulates Pamela Geller on her website (no link for her):

Where are the suicide bombers when you really need them? One well placed Moslem with a bomb vest could have taken out Sheehan and the whole moonbat colony. A golden opportunity missed!

It Just Cracks Charles Up!

Pamela Geller shows her three daughters how to give a Gold Star Mother, whose politics she disagrees with, The Finger.

Charles just loves it! Fresh meat for the Lizards!

UPDATE: From Pamela Geller's site:
 Pamela,

It was wonderful working with you today!
I hope you enjoyed yourself half as much as we did! By now Cindy should know that the Gathering of Eagles will be there Anytime, Anywhere, under Any conditions to confront her seditious lies. They can run but they can't hide.

Thanks for displaying how we really feel!
