Meanwhile, in Poland

Remember the general election they had in September? At the time, Senior European Affairs Analyst Charles Johnson and his saurian horde were absolutely thrilled that the Poles had dumped a center-left government for a right-wing one.

Here's a sampling of what they said:

Sounds like good news to me! ... Kind of gives you hope ... Poland joins the Civilized World ... Poland saved Europe in 1638 and now they save Europe again in 2005 ... There is hope after all. Amazing that Europe could be brought back to its Western traditions and senses (albeit kicking and screaming) with the former Eastern Bloc countries leading the way, by example no less. Amazing ... VIVA Poland. They GET it ... Poland is probably the most conservative country in Europe. They see the devastating effect that socialism has had on western Europe ... There is hope from across the pond ... Poland led the way against the Soviet Union in Eastern Europe for decades. Again they kick out the socialists/communists!

And what did they get instead?

Fascists.
The conservative minority government of Poland’s Law and Justice party has agreed to enter a coalition with two extreme right parties.

The two parties which signed the agreement, the League of Polish Families and Self-Defense, have a history of anti-Semitic stances.

Jan Maria Jackowski, a prominent member of the League of Polish Families, has warned against Poland becoming a "land reserve" for Jewish settlement and called accusations of pedophilia against a Polish priest a "Judeo-Communist plot."

The party also is closely aligned with Radio Maryja, frequently cited for its anti-Semitic broadcasts.

Andrzej Lepper, leader of the populist Self-Defense Party, has referred enthusiastically to Goebbel’s "propaganda skills" and Hitler’s "economic policy," according to the Stephen Roth Institute for the Study of Contemporary Anti-Semitism and Racism at Tel Aviv University.

According to Polish media reports, Lepper has also received an honorary degree and supported Ukraine’s Interregional Academy of Personnel Management, or MAUP, which frequently publishes anti-Semitic material.

And then there are the increasing number of verbal and physical anti-gay attacks taking place in Poland.

You'd think Charles and his loyal lizardoids would be appalled at such a resurgence of religious intolerance in the heart of the Western world. You would, however, be completely wrong, because as anyone who's watched LGF for a while knows, anti-Semitism and violent homophobia are only worth mentioning if they're emanating from leftists or Muslims.
