Zombie is missing a braaiiin - Revisited

ChenZhen has found a good one over at LGF while reporting on some hardline Obama derangement syndrome:

"I'm going to pull out the wildest thing out of my arse..

.. wave it in your face and hope YOU WET YOUR UNDERPANTS LIKE I DID!! ABOOGA BOOGA BOOGA!!!"

Luckily enough, there was some decency at the loony bin the old ghoul writes at:

Mr. Sandman
It looks like you and Charles from LGF are a good deal panicked and flustered as you see the impending election-day train speeding your way, and no way to avoid it. I looked at some your stuff before, and had a measure of respect for you, as you seemed somewhat intelligent and reasoned, but that respect is now flushed down the toilet (along with the respect I once had for McCain, and along with his honor, as he’s run the most vile, in fact dangerous presidential campaign in American political history). Charles from LGF paradoxically eschews and condemns paranoid, delusional conspiracy theories such as rumors regarding Obama’s birth certificate being forged and what have you. I say paradoxically because now in his panic he has approvingly linked to this garbage article of yours, with its ridiculous insinuations that Obama is the Weather Underground’s Manchurian Candidate. Good grief. How desperate and pathetic.

You know you are desperate and just fabricating a loony conspiracy theory in the last-minute, flailing-arms hope of confusing and raising doubts in some gullible voters. I know this to be the case since you essentially admit to this this tactic in your comments at LGF. For instance,

LGF member DisgustingOratory: “You see the arch symbol a lot in New Age stuff too. I tried to make the connection, but the symbol seems to have come from a respectable marketing firm with not too much input from Obama himself.”

Zombie: “I’m sure that’s probably true. But at this stage of the game, the only thing left that will reach the undecideds are *visuals* — words and facts are probably beyond the capacity of these people.”

DisgustingOratory: “That [Obama’s logo and the Weather Underground logo juxtaposed] gave me chills.”

Zombie: ” *That* is the reaction I’m looking for. Just a gut-level uneasiness. Something to make anyone pause before pulling that lever for Obama. Something non-verbal — something to give you chills.”

So by your own words you are trying to fool the “stupids” into voting for McCain on the basis of irrational fear. You really *are* a Republican! You are inventing propaganda you know to be false, absurd, and slanderous in your desperate last-ditch assault on Obama. You are an admitted liar, and this behavior is truly reprehensible.

Apparently common sense and decency doesn't survive at LGF and all associated blogs, save such comments like Mr. Sandman's..

Vote early and often!

If you have a moment, please go vote for Sadly, No! in Wizbang's Republican-skewed "silly internet poll™" for Funniest Blog.

Notwithstanding his stance on "silly internet polls™" [i.e. the kind that tend to get spammed by Ron Paul supporters], Charles is urging his readers to vote for certain blogs, including one that, in addition to being surpassingly lame and stupid, is also actively spamming the conservowebosphere to garner support. So please go vote for Sadly, No!. It's not important, but actually, it kind of is.

You can vote once every 24 hours, apparently.

[UPDATE - In addition to being surpassingly lame and stupid, the "humor" blog touted by Charles Johnson as the Funniest Blog is run by someone who can only be described as evil. Unless, that is, you think it's amusing that someone would orchestrate a denial of health care for someone who's dying of pancreatic cancer.]

When wingnuts fall out

It seems all is not well in Wingnutsville.

Pamela Geller Oshry (aka Atlas Shrugs) isn't happy with Chuckles Johnson. She's very upset that Charles, after advertising a European Bigotpalooza, added an update warning that some of the people involved where a bit on the extreme-right side.

Well to be fair, what did Charles expect? If he'd done his homework before the original post he would've realised the kind of people involved and would've been a little bit more reticent about promoting it.

Unfortunately for Charles this update (which was spurred by one of his Lizards pointing out a Nazi connection) was some sort of catastrophic occurrence for Ms. Geller Oshry. It was the ultimate betrayal by her once hero. You see Ms. Geller Oshry has no problem promoting and linking to neo-Nazis as long as they're saying the right things about Muslims. As a Jewish woman linking to and promoting the British National Party, a fascist organisation run by a convicted holocaust denying anti-Semite is unforgivable. So her support for this 'event' and inability to see what is wrong with sharing a platform with race supremacists, neo-Nazis and bigoted propagandists is nothing out of character.

She's an absolute nutjob.

Poor old Charles. These are the people his little hate site encouraged, now he's having to deal with their madness.

UPDATE: Interesting to see Atlas Shrugs mention Fjordman and his opinion of the LGF betrayal. Fjordman fits in perfectly with this 'event', he has some very interesting views on the Holocaust and Anne Frank, which Charles was quite happy to allow at LGF.

It's always about 9/11 in Wingnut World

I visited LGF to check out the latest faux-outrage about the Ahmadinejad visit and found this tidbit about one of the rallies:

Speakers include Debra Burlingame, sister of Charles F. “Chic” Burlingame,III, (Capt., USNR, Ret.), pilot of American Airlines Flight 77 that crashed into the Pentagon on 9/11.

It doesn't matter that Iran condemned the 9-11 attacks or that it helped get rid of the Taliban, if the pseudo-conservatives can bring up 9-11, they can raise the fear level.

He's Gonna Get Someone Hurt....

Charles Johnson has always proffered alternative targets for his 24/7 hate-a-thon. When he's running low on fresh Mooslimb meat he reliably turns to the "Moonbats", in his lexicon anyone who doesn't agree with The Commander. Kos & commenters are usual targets. Always careful not to say too much himself, by a process akin to fruit-fly genetics, restricting membership and banning "lizards" who don't toe the line, Charles gets stuff said for him. He’s a maestro, we’ll give him that.

No-one can say the comments below are "cherry-picked", because they were grabbed as whole bushes, in a process that took a minute or so. This is the emerging face of LGF, 2.0, if you like, where Charles’s trained fruit-lizards fantasize about killing (and Zog knows what else) their fellow citizens. As the pictures here show, some Lizards doesn’t just fantasize, they're busy practicing.

As well trained as he has the Lizards, Johnson doesn't have to do much more than tinkle the bell to set them off. In this example, he references the "AQ in Iraq" news about the bombing of Sheik Abu Risa, as a recent killer of US Troops an unlikely candidate for Lizard grief and rage. A few remarks from Kos commenters are enough to get pulses pounding, knuckles white as they grip the mice and pound-out spittle-flecked missives of rage.

The danger is that one day, one of these acolytes, crazed by years of preparing to repel the Muzzies who never showed up, will snap and do bad things with guns to someone who Chuck profiles as "Moonbat". A Volvo might do it. Or granny-glasses. If that happens, the blood will be on Johnson, just like he was pulling the trigger himself.

It Just Cracks Charles Up!

Pamela Geller shows her three daughters how to give a Gold Star Mother, whose politics she disagrees with, The Finger.

Charles just loves it! Fresh meat for the Lizards!

UPDATE: From Pamela Geller's site:
 Pamela,

It was wonderful working with you today!
I hope you enjoyed yourself half as much as we did! By now Cindy should know that the Gathering of Eagles will be there Anytime, Anywhere, under Any conditions to confront her seditious lies. They can run but they can't hide.

Thanks for displaying how we really feel!

Bang bang

Charles has now latched on to the gun issue as a new way of galvanizing his base -- never mind that this involves throwing his support behind some rather dubious characters. Support for "gun rights" (how can a gun have rights?) is an essential component of the wingnut software package, v.9.1.1, without which he and so many other conservabots would cease to function.

So, lizards, here's a question for you:

You think all university students and staff should be encouraged, if not required, to carry loaded concealed weapons on campus.

Should this right apply to students and staff who happen to be Muslim?

The devil made him do it

Who needs Debbie Schlussel, Pammy Gellar, Charles Johnson and Michelle Malkin when you've got Fox News?

Did the Devil Make Him Do It?

Whilst the 'wingnut-o-sphere' happily spin ludicrous theories about Muslims, neo-Nazis and the like, Fox News picks up the ball and runs with it. Puts the blame firmly on Satan.

Blogger 1, MSM 0

But it's not what you think.

Long story short: Conservative commentators spew violent rhetoric on a San Francisco hate-radio station owned by Disney via ABC. Local blogger contacts station's advertisers and tells them exactly what they're sponsoring -- complete with audio clips. Horrified advertisers cancel ad buys.

Score one for the blogosphere!

And please support Spocko if you can.

(Any resemblance between the kill-'em-all rhetoric spouted on KSFO and in the LGF comments section is entirely coincidental. And the fact that the conservative blog LGF and its "respectable" doppelgänger JammieCorp also happen to have a couple of big-name corporate sponsors, is utterly irrelevant.)

Bingo!

As we move forward into the Pelosi Era, every wingnut in Wingnuttia -- not least the ones who inhabit the conservative blog known as "Little Green Footballs" -- is redoubling his or her efforts. Accordingly, we are pleased to present Wingnut Bingo: Democratic Majority Edition.

You know the drill: take any random wingnut blog post, or comment, or op-ed column, or White House press release, etc., and whenever you encounter one of these terms, which you inevitably will, check it off. Get four in a row, in a column, or diagonally -- and Bingo!

If you're so inclined, you can even use this grid as a handy guide for composing your very own blog comments in fluent Wingnutese. For example, using the last row across, you'd end up with something like, "Commie socialist Jon Carie is an MSM tool who looks like he's from San Francisco, a city that is the world capital of suckiness! LOL!!1!1!11" which is sure to earn you many, many kudos among your wingnut friends.

Enjoy!

The New Journalism, R.I.P.

The invaluable Glenn Greenwald has composed a comprehensive epitaph for the pathetic pretensions of the pajama-clad poobahs.

These right-wing bloggers operate at a level several beneath the National Enquirer, literally. They simply fabricate facts and recklessly and maliciously launch serious accusations against the media whenever doing so advances their political agenda.

They leap on any innuendo or gossip from the Internet swamps and tout it as fact whenever doing so bolsters their ideological view or can be enlisted to destroy the credibility of a journalist who reports unpleasant facts. They desperately seek out any basis for attacking media reports that cast doubt on their Leader and his policies. They repeat government and military claims as fact and then accuse the media of "lying" whenever their reporting contradicts Official Statements from Our Leaders.

There's much, much, much more, including some excellent linkage.

And now for a fearless prediction about where the warblogosphere will turn after all this: back to what they do best; namely, non-stop, nakedly partisan mudslinging lacking even the slightest pretense of objectivity. Already the moniker "Nazi Pelosi" is bubbling out of the fetid fever swamps of FreeRepublic et al.; it's only a matter of time until it goes "mainstream."

The American people demonstrated on November 7th that they are no longer interested in extremist right-wingerism. So, yesterday, did America's most popular Republican politician, once a cause célèbre of the right-wing élite. No less a personage than Arnold Schwarzenegger is now saying things like:
Like Paul on the road to Damascus, I had an experience that opened my eyes. And what was it that I saw? I saw that people, not just in California, but across the nation, were hungry for a new kind of politics, a politics that looks beyond the old labels, the old ways, the old arguments.

[...]

The people are disgusted with a mindset that would rather get nothing done than accomplish something through compromise. I want to thank the Legislature for taking action this past year on behalf of the people, not politics. I thank them for taking that risk.

The question is not what are the needs of Republicans or Democrats? The real question is what are the needs of our people? We don't need Republican roads or Democratic roads. We need roads. We don't need Republican health care or Democratic health care. We need health care. We don't need Republican clean air or Democratic clean air. We all breathe the same air. When California 's leaders have worked together, we have accomplished good things.

[...]

Ladies and gentlemen, we face important issues that should unite us. I believe we have the opportunity to move past partisanship . . . past bi-partisanship . . . to post-partisanship. Post-partisanship is not simply Republicans and Democrats each bringing their proposals to the table and working out differences. Post-partisanship is Republicans and Democrats actively giving birth to new ideas together. I believe it would promote a new centrism and a new trust in our political system. And I believe we have a window to do it right now.

[...]

Centrist does not mean weak. It does not mean watered down or warmed over. It means well-balanced and well-grounded. The American people are instinctively centrist . . . so should be our government. America's political parties should return to the center. They should return to the center where the people are.

"The center" also being a place recently vacated -- or, one might argue, never occupied -- by the mindless regurgitators of hard-line GOP policy over in Pajamaland. And if you think their rhetoric over the past few years has been nasty, you ain't seen nothing yet.
