LGF fauxtography?

In a post about the attempted breaking of the Gaza embargo by former Georgia Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney, Charles Johnson links to and quotes from an article on the Atlanta Constitution Journal website.

However, the picture he uses alongside the cited article _ and inside his "quote" tags _ is not used on the AJC site.

Is CJ trying to pass the photo (a rather unflattering one) off as the work of the AJC, when in actual fact he added it?

Open question to Charles Johnson

From the recent thread: http://littlegreenfootballs.com/article/32307_Innocent_Gazans_Suffering

#144 Charles

Here we go. I did not say I was "against carpet bombing." The reality is that indiscriminate bombing is not being used or even considered by Israel in this case, and they're not going to use it. It's not going to happen.

The only thing people achieve by fantasizing about killing 'em all is to make LGF look like an extremist site, and I don't like it.

Well, we don't like it either. Unfortunately though..
#126 Iron Fist

Yeah, I'm pretty much over all the motherfuckers in Gaza. They claim they want an independant State, but isn't that what the Israelis essentially gave them when they pulled out of Gaza? How's that working out?

It's past time that Israel finish the job in Gaza. There is no reforming for those people. They claim that they love death, and who can doubt them? They show their devotion on a daily basis.

It is time to put an end to it.

So, here's an open question to CJ: When are you going to consider banning this lunatic? He's obviously giving you lot a pretty bad name, seeing that he's been happily fantasizing about death for a few years now, without a note from you that he should start to behave.

Being quite the tyrant means that you should be capable of ruthlessly implementing your rules on your own site, and not - as we have shown here - talk about them while letting your fans humiliate you a few comments before.

Or does the armed ol' Fisty happen to know where you live, Charles?

No pity in LA this Christmas

The attack on Gaza is a bit like a Rorschach test. People's reaction tells you a lot about what kind of person they are.

Take Charles Johnson of littlegreenfootballs.com :

More than 300 people have died since Friday, the vast majority of them Palestinians. Some were armed militants, some were police and other municipal workers, some were civilians.

What's striking is that Charles Johnson's reaction to this is: they probably deserved it. All of them. Indiscriminately.

He doesn't say: well, maybe the Israeli response to the rocket attack was a little over-the-top

He doesn't say: surely a highly-trained and ethical army such as the IDF can do better than mirror the Palestinian militants by firing into densely packed areas full of civilians.

No, he says, quote: "At some point, though, don’t we need to ask, 'How innocent are those ordinary Gazan civilians, anyway?'"

You see, that's a rhetorical question. For obviously, in Charles Johnson's mind the answer is clear: the civilians aren't innocent. By virtue of the fact that they live in Gaza, where the majority voted for Hamas, they are guilty, and therefore we shouldn't shed a tear if they are killed. Man. Woman. Child. All of them.

That's the kind of person Charles Johnson is.

Charles on Pastor Rick Warren

Well, while the left jumps all over Obama's choice of Pastor Rick Warren to give a prayer at his inauguration for Warren's more conservative views, Charles Johnson takes a different angle. The Muslim angle. Then the "creationist" angle. Then any angle he can find to milk this story for more posts. Quoting this article Charles posts:

"Warren, like many Muslims, opposes abortion and same-sex marriage."

Although the article doesn’t mention it, Warren has another thing in common with fundamentalist Muslims: a belief in young earth creationism.

ZING! You've got him now, Charles! Now go in for the kill:

Christopher Hitchens seems a bit disappointed to find Barack Obama engaging in the same sort of pandering that caused Hitchens to bail out on John McCain: If we must have an officiating priest at the inauguration, we can do much better than Rick Warren.

Wait, Sharmuta agreeing isn't enough for the kill? OK, try again:
Saddleback Church Deletes Page on Creationism and Homosexuality?

Religion | Mon, Dec 22, 2008 at 3:58:43 pm PST

Rick Warren, the Saddleback Church pastor chosen by Barack Obama to deliver the invocation at the presidential inauguration, has been getting a lot of media attention because he’s a very vocal opponent of gay marriage. Panda’s Thumb points out that Warren is also a creationist: Creationist to Give Invocation at Inauguration.

Oddly enough, the FAQ page at the Saddleback Church that contained their policy statements on dinosaurs, evolution, and homosexuality (among other subjects) has suddenly been wiped clean: Saddleback Church: Small Group Information.

But Google’s cache has a copy as it appeared on December 16, 2008.

I'll admit, this last one (posted at 3:58 PM, 22 December) does sort of prove the point with the "dinosaurs" theory and all, but is it another Rathergate or simply another Ron Paul obsession? I'm thinking Ron Paul since the next post is at 7:05 PM:

Video: Jackie and Dunlap on Rick Warren

Video | Mon, Dec 22, 2008 at 7:05:16 pm PST

Come Tuesday Charles catches now bedragled Pastor Warren "reaching out" to another Muslim group:

Politics | Tue, Dec 23, 2008 at 9:17:27 pm PST

When Pastor Rick Warren’s “Global Peace Coalition” presented President Bush with the International Medal of Peace recently, one of the groups invited to attend the ceremony was the Islamic Society of North America—one of the unindicted co-conspirators in the Holy Land Foundation Hamas funding trial: ISNA ATTENDS SADDLEBACK CHURCH CIVIL FORUM ON GLOBAL HEALTH.

This event took place after the http://www2.blogger.com/img/blank.gifconvictions of the Holy Land Foundation defendants.

See? Pastor Warren is for Creationism and Islam! Bad! But wait, Charles has yet another weird link for us:
God Will Punish Rick Warren

This was said by a "Baptist Pastor/Nirther" and as for poor ol' Chuckles:

God was unavailable for comment.

Well, for anyone sick of the incessant mainstream media coverage of outrage over Pastor Rick Warren, this has been a report on the Charles Johnson outrage over Pastor Rick Warren. Signing off, this has been Lex, and a Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah, Jolly etc. to everyone.

Global Warming Fun

The lizard army is chuckling its collective arse off at the conclusion of the overwhelming majority of scientists and ecologists saying that global warming is indeed a human-made problem that'll have a large impact on our future.

Now regardless whether you believe in global warming or not, it should strike you as odd that in this recent thread, (http://littlegreenfootballs.com/article/32234_Obamas_Science_Leaders) one of the prime arguments in the comment section against global warming, despite the fact that it's freaking winter, must've been the instant classic: "Oh look, it's snowing outside. Global warming is bunk". If I didn't know better, I'd look around my apartment, observe the lack of other humans, and conclude that I'm one of a kind, if I were to follow this tragic line of trashy logic.

Then the lizard tyrant shot himself in the foot with his latest post:

http://littlegreenfootballs.com/article/32235_The_Great_Global_Warming_Swindle_Debate

The three YouTube videos in that thread should cause your jaw to involuntarily hit the floor or your head to bang repeatedly against the next wall for the sheer dishonesty displayed by Martin Durkin, producer of the documentary "The great global warming swindle" and representative of polemics the lizards are so vehemently clinging to. The part where he gets to defend his own film is literally anywhere between funny and torturous.

Go ahead and watch them if you're feeling adventurous, and give yourself a laugh or two at a group of people not even capable of noticing how excruciatingly bad this man performs, proven by the lack of comments questioning Chuckles' reason for finding this sad excuse of a skeptic - of all people - to present to the world, a scenario oddly reminiscent of their ongoing drooling at a certain female vice president candidate who boasted on how geographic location is a main credential for foreign policy experience.

Charles IS a Nirth Certifikit Troofer!

Well, a big old hat-tip to Beamish on this one. It appears that prior to his enemies espousing the great big absurdist fight for Obama's "nirth" certificate Chuckles was calling for it himself.

Charles, please go ban yourself, block your account and hand over the keys to Killgore and Sharmuta. You are no longer welcome.

Obama's citizenship is not his personal business, but his birth certificate is.

Just rumors.

What? Are you seriously suggesting that it doesn't matter whether he's a citizen or not? Because without the birth certificate, there's no way to know for sure.

A US citizen's birth certificate contains NO sensitive personal information. What could possibly be Obama's reason for refusing to release it?

(please note the 7 votes for his comment...LOL)

Charles Insults of the Week

Charles is really into insulting other bloggers lately, I just thought I'd chronicle the egomania with a few highlights:

(Cross-posted at govvs)

Birth Certificate fun

Charlie Johnson is throwing somewhat of a fit over the cock-and-bull stories of Barack Obama's "Nirth Certifikit", etc. More developments covered here. However, in his whole frenzy to scrape off the slime from himself for helping promote the story in the first place (http://littlegreenfootballs.com/article/30278_Is_Obama_a_Citizen_of_the_US), he has probably failed to notice that Vandals have desecrated French Musl.. I mean youths' graves, just in time for Eid el Adha.

That, or he doesn't give a crap. Or he's afraid to lose his large Islamophobic donor base readership, shortly after having alienating creationists, right-wing fascists and Bobby Spencer.

Anyway between the thread mentioned above when Chuckles was still wallowing in his own juvenile "Nirth Certifikit Troofer" days and the present, there have been some interesting developments in the mindset of his sycophantic worshipers. For example..

Come on, Barry! What's the big deal? It's only a birth certificate.

Some other gems found on the same thread:

====

Sounds like censorship to me.

====

A rating of -32 for that one! To which the lizard tyrant responded:

====
#17 Charles

re: #5 warnergt

That's because you don't understand the meaning of the word "censorship."

You do not have a right to post anything you like at LGF. Period. If that's not to your liking, go and post somewhere else.

====

And finally someone just had to say it:

====
#15 Sharmuta

Uh- no. This is private property. Free speech rights don't apply.

====

Glad we got that one settled. All other comments raining down on warnergt proved one thing: The lizard army thinks their deity is free to do whatever he wants on his own freaking blog, but don't actually deny that he can be seen as the biggest pro-censorship asshat of 2008.

UPDATE:

Here's a great quote by Chuckles, remember he's just spent the last couple of months banning people for disagreeing with him, deleting all of their posts, censoring spin off links etc etc.

Appel clearly has no idea what happens at LGF, where we have more than 5,000 comments a day debating every topic under the sun from every viewpoint.
Charles should really be a little bit more honest and add the words 'as long as I agree with them' to the end of that sentence.

Humanity is supposed to learn from history to keep it from repeating it. But when I see people all over the world who, in the War of Terror, spend all their energy opposing and protesting the US & her allies and not saying one bad word about the terrorists, I know that humanity hasn't learned a damned thing from history.

We are therefore doomed to repeat it.

OMG CREEPING SHARIA THREAT WATCH ALERT!!1!

An organization that was recently formed for the purpose of perpetuating second-class citizenship for gay Americans has a Board of Advisors that includes a lady called Amatullah Sharif, whose affiliation is listed as "The Mosque Cares - Ministry of Imam W. Deen Mohammed."

According to what I presume to be an impeccable wingnut news source (and one that has been favorably cited at LGF on at least one occasion):

"The Mosque Cares" is an organization founded by Warith Deen Mohammed, a former leader of the Nation of Islam. "The Mosque Cares" often works together with other Islamist groups in the United States such as the Muslim Alliance in North America [MANA] and the Islamic Society of North America [ISNA, also an unindicted co-conspirator in the HLF prosecution].

MANA recently gave W.D. Mohammed "its first 'Lifetime Achievement Award.' The fact is that historically, he led the largest "mass conversion" of Muslims in the United States, when he sheparded his followers from the Nation of Islam doctrine to following the Quran and Sunnah specifically." [see, http://www.mana-net.org/pages.php?ID=&NUM=164]

The amir of MANA, is Siraj Wahhaj [see, http://www.mana-net.org/pages.php?ID=&NUM=164], a party named by U.S. prosecutor Mary Jo White as an unindicted co conspirator in the 1993 WTC bombings.

This would be a perfect opportunity for Charles Johnson to demonstrate, once and for all, which side he's on in the battle over same-sex marriage. The presence of Ms. Sharif -- not to mention dozens of other religious extremists, most of whom are, presumably, believers in creationism and other icky things -- on the Board of Advisors of a vehemently anti-gay organization gives him a perfect excuse to "come out" in favor of equal rights for all. Of course he'd rather commit seppuku with a rusty butter knife than give us a "hat tip," but if anyone is so inclined, please feel free to bring this to his attention by other means.

If history is any indication, though, Charles will simply ignore the issue and hope it goes away. He's already lost the creationists; can he afford to lose the homophobes too?

Dude, where's my self respect?

[ Link: http://littlegreenfootballs.com/article/32002_And_Now_the_International_Anti-Darwin_Essay_Contest/comments/#ctop ]

Charles Johnson:

We do have some LGF readers who are creationists, so we would be remiss if we didn’t bring to your attention a chance to win a prize of 100,000 new Turkish lira (about $63,191.14 US at current exchange rates), in a scientific essay contest being held by Turkish creationist Harun Yahya (aka Adnan Oktar): WHY IS THE THEORY OF EVOLUTION INVALID?

Comment #43, theparson:
There are some of us "creationists" who don't appreciate huckstering or subterfuge... or Charles' tone in the above quote.

Comment #48, Charles:
Hey, I'm serious! Here's your chance to win a fair amount of money just for writing something about a subject you believe in! Sheesh. Try to be nice and see what I get.

Comment #50, Walter L. Newton:
Okay, So. It's his blog. Right?

Comment #59, theparson:
Really? You are serious? No "snarkiness" intended? No underlying sarcasm? You're just trying to help?

Comment #78, Charles:
$63,191.14 sounds pretty serious to me. The offer's real as far as I can tell, although I'm not sure how all the international rules work.

So to sum it up, the host behaves likes an arse, puts a blatantly fake innocent act when called out on it, even complains about acting "nice" while geting his boot polished by the tongue of one of his minions, and won't even admit the obvious.

LGF, not a good place for maintaining your self-respect. Kudos to theparson though for standing up for himself.

Commons Sense

Charles has posted a nice video someone else made on his blog. Problem is, in doing so he violated the video's creative commons license, which states clearly that:

"No commercial websites ... are allowed to display this film without the author's permission."

Let's be clear: LGF is a commercial enterprise by virtue of the fact that Charles runs advertising and keeps the revenue for himself.

Ergo, he's breaking the CC license. Naughty Charles.

A Simple Question for Simple Minds

Charles asks his readers to vote on what should happen to the Gitmo inmates, and gives them three options:

1) Release them to their home countries
2) Try them in the US criminal justice system
3) House them in a tent city on the White House lawn

As even the dumbest Republicon should know by now, it's not that simple. What should, and likely will, happen is that the inmates will be divided into three groups:

1) Those who will be charged, who will either face some sort off extraterritorial court or be transferred to the US for trial

2) Those who won't be charged and will therefore be released. They will either be a) sent home or b) sent to a third country because they face persecution at home but the US won't have them.

Camping out on the White House lawn is not an option. But you wouldn't expect someone like Charles to get that.

Scorecard

Are you confused by the ever-expanding list of players in the anti-LGF industry? Do you wonder whether we, because of our long and lavishly documented campaign against the saurian horde, are somehow "on the same side" as the new crop of Charles-bashers?

Well, wonder no more. As the saying goes, sometimes you can't tell the players without a scorecard; so here, for your edification and amusement, is a completely scientific, objective chart comparing the political and psychological orientations of various denizens of the webosphere and, for reference, a few organizations and public figures.

Charles, Web Awards and Whining

(what left?!?!)
(hat-tip: LGF II) Oh, man is the web's competing narcissist (Baron is certainly in a dead heat, to name just one) whining about this one. Of course, being Charles Johnson, he deigns to remind us that we and others are in fact the whiners. Actually, he's not really talking much about us at all, but still:

http://littlegreenfootballs.com/article/31939_Censored_Yet_Somehow_Still_Whining

Yes, you read that title right. He cannot stop people from 'whining' about being banned by him from his little echo chamber and therefore it's pickin' time. (For the record, I was never banned but emailed Charles to have my account removed in response to the banning at LGF of The Sphinx, also of this blog.)

People banned from LGF for supporting fascists and/or being hostile obsessive jerks whine endlessly about being “censored” (with no sense of irony whatsoever) as the Infidel Blogger Awards nominates me for “Biggest Pro-Censorship Ass-Hat.” Apparently, speaking out against Eurofascists, and not letting the LGF comments pages turn into a racist cesspool makes me as bad as or worse than the Canadian Human Rights Commission and Mohammed Elmasry, in their strange little world of “anti-jihad” make believe.

In Charles-speak, this means he's angry. Now back to regularly scheduled comments:

Charles Johnson explaining fascism

Senior political analyst Charles Johnson has managed to shoot himself in the proverbial foot yet once more. It all started when he underlined his firm refusal to align himself with fascist organizations from Europe, such as Vlaams Belang et al., by posting in which respect they are by definition fascists. [link: http://littlegreenfootballs.com/article/31912_What_is_Fascism]. A stance LGF Watch has applauded him for, only to get a "F*** you" in return from the classy lizard tyrant, by the way [http://littlegreenfootballs.com/article/27674 , comment #299].

Anyhoo, let's look at the points that Chuckles has posted and figure out why this counts as an own goal in some respects..

The correlation between these points, the tactics and positions of the Vlaams Belang, and the rationalizations of the “anti-Islamization” groups who are making alliances with them, is simply stunning.

* a sense of overwhelming crisis beyond the reach of any traditional solutions; [Check]

* the primacy of the group, toward which one has duties superior to every right, whether individual or universal, and the subordination of the individual to it; [Like the lizard's right to agree, and their solemn duty to shove their dissent up their green scaly derrieres..]

* the belief that one’s group is a victim, a sentiment that justifies any action, without legal or moral limits, against its enemies, both internal and external; [Let's see.. Oh, here's one]

* dread of the group’s decline under the corrosive effects of individualistic liberalism, class conflict, and alien influences; [Also the damage of different opinions and intellectual arguments. Evidence found here]

* the need for closer integration of a purer community, by consent if possible [Closely monitored registration times..], or by exclusionary violence if necessary; [.. and bannings galore. Yup.]

* the need for authority by natural chiefs (always male), culminating in a national chieftain who alone is capable of incarnating the group’s historical destiny; [Need I say anything?]

* the superiority of the leader’s instincts over abstract and universal reason; [Uh huh..]

* the beauty of violence and efficacy of will, when they are devoted to the group’s success [Check]

So is Charles Johnson a fascist? Probably not, however sometimes methinks he doesn't notice how his monstrosity of a blog - along with his bootlicking fanbase - is oddly similar to a little pathetic fascist circle.

Don't mention the war

As everyone in Charles Johnson's home state of California knows, last week a slim majority of voters voted Yes on Proposition 8, which imposes a ban on same-sex marriages.

Since then, tens of thousands of protesters have poured into the streets of Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, and other cities. Some of the protests have been violent; most have resulted in street closures and other unpleasantness.

Usually, when protests of this magnitude occur -- especially when the overwhelming majority of the protesters happen to be liberal Obama-lovers -- Charles and his loyal doppelgƤnger Zombie are at their keyboards 24/7 breathlessly reporting every single questionably-worded sign and rude chant.

But now -- not a word. From either of them.

Either Charles and Zombie don't think the furore over Proposition 8 is newsworthy, an attitude that is easily dispelled by the quickest glance at the front page of any California newspaper, or they lack the cojones to admit to their rabidly conservative readership donor base that they actually agree with the protesters' contention that religious biases have no place in the state Constitution.

I've been reading this site daily since probably 12/01 -- and this is the first time you've unleashed the Yeats.

Do you really think it's going to be that bad?

Does having Rahmbo in the White House make it any less likely that the center will not hold?

Return of the Daft

Charles is getting all hot and bothered about Obama's alleged plan to bring back "the draft." The draft, you ask? Like enlisting young Americans to go overseas and shoot people?

Ehm, not really. What Obama suggested is that everyone do 100 hours of community service. You know, clean up beaches, help old people across the road, that kind of thing.

Forcing kids to sign up for the military is more of a Republican kind of thing...

Sharmuta Comment of the Week

Wait, is she talking about us? ROFL

Whichever way the wind blows

It must be really confusing for the Lizards. Before the election they're told to believe that the Arab world loves Obama, after the election they're told the Arab world hates Obama.

We can only speculate what kind of disconnect this will cause in a reptilian brain...

Kindle without the Kindness

Reader SD writes:

I was busy reading the comments on lgf as any self respecting person would do after an Obama election victory when I came across this golden nugget of a comment in this post:
Cognito: 11/05/08 9:13:04 pm

Ha, I can't lie, Charles, it's hard for me to read this objectively knowing how the Amazon thing works a little bit. (And knowing that everyone I know who has tried the Kindle has thrown it through the nearest window within a month, and reached for a good old paper book).

But heck, man. If you can make even a few pennies off this, I'm absolutely behind you. I know how bad things are right now. It sucks.

I know you guys have called out mr. johnson's amazon revenue stream and here it becomes plainly obvious, Cognito brings up a very fair point, Johnsons reply 11/05/08 9:14:56 pm: "You know, you really are a creep."

How is he a creep for pointing out that a) Charles profits from advertising Amazon b) The product he's trying to sell for profit has a shoddy reputation at best.

Cognito responds again in his own defense:
"Didn't intend it to be creep at all, and I apologize if it came off that way.

I've got a weird thing about blogs and ads/editorial, etc., but that's mostly because I'm stuck on the old model.

No creepiness intended. But it's late, so who knows."

or more like attempts to suck up to the fuhrer.

Enter sharmuta: "That's really low- even for you."

So apparently this Cognito character has a history of not agreeing with the fuhrer, what a creep he was for pointing out johnson is profiting from the sale of dodgy products!

Zombie is missing a braaiiin - Revisited

ChenZhen has found a good one over at LGF while reporting on some hardline Obama derangement syndrome:

"I'm going to pull out the wildest thing out of my arse..

.. wave it in your face and hope YOU WET YOUR UNDERPANTS LIKE I DID!! ABOOGA BOOGA BOOGA!!!"

Luckily enough, there was some decency at the loony bin the old ghoul writes at:

Mr. Sandman
It looks like you and Charles from LGF are a good deal panicked and flustered as you see the impending election-day train speeding your way, and no way to avoid it. I looked at some your stuff before, and had a measure of respect for you, as you seemed somewhat intelligent and reasoned, but that respect is now flushed down the toilet (along with the respect I once had for McCain, and along with his honor, as he’s run the most vile, in fact dangerous presidential campaign in American political history). Charles from LGF paradoxically eschews and condemns paranoid, delusional conspiracy theories such as rumors regarding Obama’s birth certificate being forged and what have you. I say paradoxically because now in his panic he has approvingly linked to this garbage article of yours, with its ridiculous insinuations that Obama is the Weather Underground’s Manchurian Candidate. Good grief. How desperate and pathetic.

You know you are desperate and just fabricating a loony conspiracy theory in the last-minute, flailing-arms hope of confusing and raising doubts in some gullible voters. I know this to be the case since you essentially admit to this this tactic in your comments at LGF. For instance,

LGF member DisgustingOratory: “You see the arch symbol a lot in New Age stuff too. I tried to make the connection, but the symbol seems to have come from a respectable marketing firm with not too much input from Obama himself.”

Zombie: “I’m sure that’s probably true. But at this stage of the game, the only thing left that will reach the undecideds are *visuals* — words and facts are probably beyond the capacity of these people.”

DisgustingOratory: “That [Obama’s logo and the Weather Underground logo juxtaposed] gave me chills.”

Zombie: ” *That* is the reaction I’m looking for. Just a gut-level uneasiness. Something to make anyone pause before pulling that lever for Obama. Something non-verbal — something to give you chills.”

So by your own words you are trying to fool the “stupids” into voting for McCain on the basis of irrational fear. You really *are* a Republican! You are inventing propaganda you know to be false, absurd, and slanderous in your desperate last-ditch assault on Obama. You are an admitted liar, and this behavior is truly reprehensible.

Apparently common sense and decency doesn't survive at LGF and all associated blogs, save such comments like Mr. Sandman's..

LGF: Forget about McCain

His lizard minions may still believe that McCain will win this election, but Charles Johnson knows better. So instead of offering a fair discussion of the two candidates' positions that shows why McCain would make a better president, CJ spends all his time frantically digging up obscure links to left-wing radicals in the hope of discrediting Obama because it's about the only thing that could lose him the election.

Not a peep about McCain's policies, and certainly no discussion of Obama's! It's all about who met whom at a dinner party in 1981. Just why the American people should care about what Obama did 30 years ago(and more to the point, why they should trust a proven liar like Charles Johnson to deliver an accurate version of history) is slightly baffling, but CJ is probably deluded enough to believe he's doing a public service. What's so striking though is that he constantly shows himself up as a hypocrite: the press isn't doing it's job on Obama, says Charles, but what about it's failure to call Bush out on Iraq? Obama should be judged by what he did in his 20s, says Charles, but of course George W.'s youthful indiscretions were never an issue, were they?

It's the double standards on Charles Johnson's blog that mark him out as an untrustworthy, partisan chronicler of this election.

It's tempting to lean back and gloat as he spins ever faster in a last, wild attempt to throw as much dirt at Obama as possible before Tuesday, even though the election is probably a done deal. That word "probably" is the problem. LGF & Co are quite capable of whipping up enough of a bigot storm to turn the vote around yet, getting McCain & Palin into the White House and thereby shooting themselves and America in the foot more than they could ever know.

Proposition what?

Here in Charles' home state of California, the Presidential race -- the outcome of which, at least in this state, is a foregone conclusion anyway -- is becoming overshadowed by the fierce debate over Proposition 8, which would eliminate the recently-granted right of same-sex couples to marry.

It's worth noting that back in August, Charles' ideological and business partner (and Pajamas Media co-founder) Roger L. Simon actually stuck his neck out and roundly condemned Proposition 8 -- much to the disgust of the Pajamas Media commentariat, naturally.

When one considers Charles' laudable struggle against religious obscurantism, and his repeated condemnations of anti-gay attacks by Muslims, and the fact that the "faith-based coalition" supporting Proposition 8 includes Muslim groups, one wonders why he has chosen not to speak out about this vital and contentious issue. The Yes on 8 campaign has recently resorted to threats and outright lies, while the No on 8 side continues to lag in fundraising.

Besides, if Charles were to come out (so to speak) against Proposition 8, he would be in very good company. And it's not as if his traffic rankings would really suffer -- if six months of non-stop Obama bashing, and constant infusions of new "hatchlings," and an endless array of exciting new Web 2.0 features haven't been enough to boost his ratings past those of the arch-fiends Kos and Huffington, nothing will.

But from his silence, we are forced to conclude that either Charles doesn't care about this issue, which after all only affects the essential civil rights of 2 million or so of his fellow Californians (as opposed to matters of vital national import such as the latest statements by Mary Mapes), or that he is more or less OK with the idea that out-of-state religious groups could successfully conspire to amend the California Constitution and institutionalize bigotry forever.

Lizard Outreach Efforts

Long time Lizard "Realwest", describes a conversation with a couple lucky enough to make his "acquaintance":

45 realwest
10/22/08 9:13:07 pm 6
Did something today that I SWORE I'd never do: engaged a moonbat couple in a "converstation". They were all for Obama (no one mentioned Biden). When I said that although Bush had disappointed me in some areas, I think he should get the credit for there being no further "9/11"'s on American Soil. They started by saying that it just proved that there is no real GWOT - that 9/11 was a "one-off". The conversation - I fully confess aided and abetted by me - went downhill very VERY rapidly from there.
I cooled off a little and ticked off all the reasons to not vote for Obama and to Vote for McCain. He said that he didn't know most of what I'd said about Obama, she said I was making it up. I responded by sneering at her and addressing him: "Don't you think you should learn about the candidate you intend to vote for BEFORE you vote for him?" and his and her reply were that they did know about Obama - my response was that they manifestly did not as he had said he didn't know these things and "so what" everyone can make a mistake in choosing a candidate and I replied - before storming off - FUCK YOU - YOU are making a voting decision that's going to FUCK UP MY LIFE and the lives of tens of millions of Americans you stupid POS.
I didn't win any friends, but I'm thinking that the male of the couple is thinking about what I said and may not vote for Obama.
And I'm just embarrassed as hell cause I lost my temper like that.

Charles Disputes Al Jazeera...For Finding People Like His Lizards!

Charles highlights a video from Al Jazeera English for finding people expressing the very same sentiments towards Obama as....his own commenters! What? Cherry-picking to promote an agenda on a news network? All they really need is a blog....Here's Chuck:

Now showing up on lefty blogs, the following Al Jazeera English report from a Sarah Palin rally in Ohio. Are you surprised that Al Jazeera managed to find racists and Christian extremists in the crowd?

Yet these people are doing nothing other than quoting various bits of paranoia and false propaganda that has been propagated by sites such as....LGF! Charles, thanks for helping create this monstrosity.

Nope, and we're not surprised when we find them at LGF, either. From "Spiny Norman":
Will an Obama Justice Department start "hate crimes" investigations against anyone who voted for McCain? Or just campaign volunteers?

Or from here:

re: #287 buzzsawmonkey
Yes overall they appreciate his Socialist behavior more than his blackness. As you correctly pointed out, if it really had anything to do with his being black they would have been singing Republican praises for years. They love Obama because he is going to hurt the United States and bow to the International community (ie: them). He is going to put International Acceptance over National Security, Negotiate with despots and dictators while refusing to negotiate across the aisle.

And help bring in the Caliphate.

Actually I have myriad "HE'S A MUSLIM" LGF quotes but I think we all remember those. Just a few extremists. Nothing to see here, move along....

Hypocrite alert!

Another stroll at the little green loony bin yielded the following findings about the insincere nature of the old lizard monarch

Link: http://littlegreenfootballs.com/article/31481_Associated_Press-_A_Full_Court_Press_Against_Sarah_Palin

They’re relentless.
Uhhh, yeah.. Said the guy who just can't get enough of barking up the proverbial Obama tree.

The latest Associated Press masterpiece of journalistic malpractice: a headline that goes right to the edge of saying Sarah Palin called Barack Obama a terrorist (which she did not): Palin defends terrorist comment against Obama.
Quite the strawman, no? There's nothing in that title to suggest that Palin called Obama a terrorist. After all, she did make a comment about terrorists, directed it against Obama and now she's defending it. Rather accurate if you ask me.

They’re parroting Obama campaign propaganda, word for word, ..
(We advise our readers at this point to check out the previous LGF Watch entry)
.. and doing everything they can to minimize William Ayers’ terrorist acts.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/7653486.stm

Speaking about minimizing, has everyone ever seen a post on LGF about Troopergate?

Then he goes on to quote the article in question:
"But while Ayers and Obama are acquainted, the charge that they “pal around” is a stretch of any reading of the public record. And it’s simply wrong to suggest that they were associated while Ayers was committing terrorist acts. Obama was 8 years old at the time the Weather Underground claimed credit for numerous bombings and was blamed for a pipe bomb that killed a San Francisco policeman."
Can you spot the world’s biggest straw man in that highlighted sentence?

And now he's going on about strawmen. Wow.. Just, wow..

Stating the obvious?

Today in our inbox we found the following email:

"Sorry to write anonymously but if I revealed my name I would be dead. I just wanted to tip you off that what you've written about LGF and other right-of-center blogs getting their marching orders from the Republican spin machine is true. I contribute to one of the bigger blogs out there and I'm sickened to see that my fellow contributors are willing to take their cue from some faceless party apparatchik instead of writing whatever the damn hell they please about whichever damn issue they please. Every day we get a memo with two or three talking points to write about and you can bet your bottom dollar that those issues will appear on blogs like ours and LGF. Even if our contributors have personal misgivings about negative campaigning and some of the more racist stuff coming out of the Republican camp, not posting something would mean having our loyalty questioned. So even though we know that half of the stuff we post about Obama is a lie, even though we know McCain won't win, and even though we've frankly got better things to do than rewrite (for free!) what the GOP wants us to, we do it anyway. Someone's going to blow the whistle on this after the election, but for now prepare for a nasty fight..."

Of course we have no idea if this email is genuine, especially as it came with a fake name. Still, interesting, especially in view of the concerted Palin/LGF effort to smear Obama with the terrorism stigma today.

Selective Good Wishes

Every time Google fails to change its logo in celebration of a holiday that Charles Johnson thinks is important, he throws a tantrum, accusing the search giant of having some hidden agenda in its well-wishing practice.

So it's interesting to see that Charles chose on Tuesday to wish his Jewish readers a Happy New Year, but not his Muslim readers a Happy Eid.

Do we detect a bias? And is anyone surprised?

Edited interviews for me, and not for thee

Link: http://littlegreenfootballs.com/article/31245_ABC_News_Hid_Important_Parts_of_Palin_Interview

Old Chuckles is having a few problems with the recent TV interview with Sarah Palin:

ABC News Hid Important Parts of Palin Interview

It won’t come as a surprise to LGF readers, but Charlie Gibson’s interview with Sarah Palin was heavily edited by ABC News to make Palin appear more hawkish and less knowledgeable. Mark Levin has the complete transcript, and what ABC News tried to pull here is a textbook example of media malfeasance: Gibson Interview.

Also see: ABC News Edited Out Key Parts of Sarah Palin Interview.

The interview was so egregiously biased, even UPI is calling out ABC News for their blatant double standards: ABC’s Gibson grilled Palin hard, but it may backfire.

(..)

Fair enough, however, it does come as a surprise that Charlie should complain.. After all, the source on media in the Middle East he relies on the most does that kind of stuff quite a lot of times..

Proxy-blogging

So Charles Johnson has given up on writing a blog.

Instead, he's letting other people do it for him: PJMedia and the John McCain campaign provide the video; the MSM provide the news; 'Zombie' provides the original content; and the lizards provide the mindless 'Open Thread' chatter that makes LGF such a pleasant place to hang out.

And what does Charles do? He counts his advertising revenue; he does the odd celebrity interview; and he monitors his little minions to make sure their Gesinnung doesn't stray from the accepted norm. Oh yes, and he hangs about at cocktail parties!

Way to go, that's 21st century media for you.

Zombie is missing a braaiiin

An ingenious piece by LGF informant Zombie, who is currently risking his/her/its life in Denver, reporting on the librul demonrat-commie-anarchofascist-terrornazis. Or something..

Link:
http://littlegreenfootballs.com/article/31056_Zombie-_The_Mosque_in_Denvers_Civic_Center

This piece was introduced by Chuckles with this: "Zombie's latest report is on the mosque that was constructed in Denver's Civic Center Park, within sight of the capitol building. The mainstream media don't think this is newsworthy."

..and started by the undead critter with: "I first arrived in Denver's Civic Center Park expecting to see hordes of anarchists and protesters. Instead, I was confronted with this huge mosque made of translucent fabric."

First off, that's not a mosque. If you look carefully at the provided photos, it's basically two short archways, a small "chamber" in the middle with a dome on top. No prayer rooms, just pictures.

Second, this isn't "huge" by any standard. In fact, when it comes to large mosques..

.. this contraption is tiny. But we know how the words "huge mosque" are bound to unleash awe and lots of wet undergarments amongst the lizard army (.. and apologize hereby to our faithful lizard readers for showing this horrifying photo of a beautiful large mosque in Istanbul).

Needless to say, some of the comments were demonstrating the true aching love of lizards towards Muslims everywhere and/or their conviction that only the small minority of them - like with all other groups - are actually maniacs (#4, #8, #13, #24, #26, #29, #32, .. to name just a few).

And as a bonus: #22 by 'ted', with positive ratings:

" '...this huge mosque made of translucent fabric...'

Anyone got a match?"

The distant memory of an episode concerning a mosque in St. Louis comes to mind..

Recommended Fisk

The Independent's Middle East correspondent Robert Fisk is a hated figure among neocons and LGFers (same difference) so he's always worth reading. Imagine my delight when I got copies of a two-volume collection of his articles dating between 1988 and 2008. Perfect for the beach! (even if the content isn't exactly what you want to be thinking about on holiday.)

These books (also available in one volume as 'The Age of the Warrior: Selected Writings') show that Fisk recognized coming trends in the Middle East (and elsewhere) years before anyone else did, and wrote about events that others didn't dare go near or purposefully ignored.

In wingnut circles Fisk has been accused of pursuing an anti-Israel agenda, and of supporting terrorists. While he certainly levels severe accusations at Israel, much of his ire is aimed at hypocritical Arab governments and the cruelty they permit in their own country.

One good example is this piece, about the indiscriminate killing of civilians in Algeria. If you don't think this is great journalism, you need your mind checked.

New Feature: LGF threads on Digg

Charles a Republican operative?

It's hard not to suspect that Charles Johnson's Littlegreenfootballs.com is part of a Republican campaign network to distribute Karl Rove's message to the masses. Now we have something resembling proof, thanks to this little slip:

"I'm getting emails from GOP lists trumpeting a 'historic event.'"
Charles isn't going to be on GOP lists unless he wants to be. So the question is, why does he subscribe to their propaganda, if not because most of the time he wants to help spread it?

This is the first time CJ has directly questioned the party line, and only in its interpretation of an event. Mostly he just parrots it.

Avoiding news when they sting

Hamas does the right thing and arrests three people for firing rockets into Israel, in accordance to the recent truce.

Immediate and full coverage followed on Little Green Footballs..

.. not. So far not even a peep. Could it be because such bits of news are inconvenient to the old reptile's agenda? Or is it because he just can't figure out how one could possibly twist the story around to make Hamas look bad again?

Charles Johnson:

Our Friends the Saudis

Saudi Arabia announced today that they have arrested 520 people for terrorism. Of course, when they use the word “terrorism” it could mean almost anything, from mass murder to publishing cartoons.

"RIYADH (Reuters) - Saudi Arabia has detained 520 people suspected of being involved in terrorism, state television reported on Wednesday."

BBC News on the same story:

Saudi Arabia is holding 520 suspected militants following raids across the kingdom this year, its interior ministry says.

They are accused of links to what it called the "deviant group" - a term used for al-Qaeda by Saudi officials.

They said the accused were of various nationalities and had been plotting attacks in and outside Saudi Arabia.

Evolution @ LGF?

Anyone not notice how much science Charles is posting on his blog these days? He's gone from almost zero to 100 on that topic.

Chances are that it's part of the Republican Machine strategy to give up on the religious fundies and appeal to mainstream voters who might be unsure about voting for the other candidate.

Or Charles is doing this on his own initiative, in the hope of remaining on message with McCain. In which case CJ is also going to have to start saying something about the importance of stopping global warming; reforming the medical insurance system; and improving America's energy security instead of shovelling billions at big oil.

Comment of the Week

I just had to post that. This is from the latest LGF freak-out:
http://littlegreenfootballs.com/article/30359_A_Question_for_Fox_News_-_Update-_Beckel_Calls_Right_Wing_Bloggers_Crackers/comments/#ctop
A Question for Fox News - Update: Beckel Calls Right Wing Bloggers 'Crackers'

Charles is quite possibly needing defib at this point:

And away they go! Comments might need a new thread eventually on this one...

".. but they don't hate Muslims!"

If you've been following LGF Watch and its comments for a while, you'll have heard from a few people that the lizard army doesn't hate Muslims as people, but rather only terrorists. Also you get a cock-and-bull story about how the lizard army is only waiting eagerly for the "silent moderate" Muslims to renounce violence and fight terrorism, so that the little green sheep squad's views of roughly a fifth of the world's population can improve. This claim is endorsed by the likes of Robert Spencer, and some of the sad excuses of LGF apologists we get here every now and then.

Bullsh*t.

Visit this brilliant (heh..) epic analysis of Chuckles on an article about Indian Muslims renouncing terrorism and vowing to fight against it. (And it's not the first time that has happened):

(Link: http://littlegreenfootballs.com/article/30353_Breaking-_Indian_Muslims_Commit_to_Fighting_Terrorism/ )

Breaking: Indian Muslims Commit to Fighting Terrorism
But you just know there’s a catch, and as usual it comes down to the remarkably flexible definition of “terrorism,” and the need to shift the blame: Muslims commit themselves to fight terrorism.

The comments on the thread are (not surprisingly) skeptical of this, accusing these Muslims of meaning something else by "terrorism", e.g. 'terrorism committed against them'.

Well if you read the last bit of the original article:
Qazmi earlier told IANS that there was no place for terrorism in Islam. 'Individual Muslims involved in acts of terrorism should be dealt with under the law. Why should the whole community or religion be smeared and given a tag?'

.. and ask yourself for which kind of terrorism Islam has been smeared and given a tag for, there's no room left for ambiguity. All this doesn't matter for the little green army of idjits, who won't let anything take away their justification and desire for making 1.5 billion people into scapegoats for all the world's misery.

Wingnuts eagerly waiting for a positive Muslim voice. I repeat: Bullsh*t.

Charles Johnson's one-sided reporting

Charles Johnson posted an (uncredited) AFP report Friday about Hamas militants accidentally blowing themselves and others up as they prepared explosives. Good. The grotesque Hamas practice of having bombs factories in civilian areas deserves all the publicity it can get.

But it's blatantly obvious that CJ is only interested in using this tragedy for his own political ends when you consider what he hasn't written about recently. Imagine if it were Palestinians who had poured acid on a teenage girl or attacked West Bank farmers.

Instant LGF classics

Behold lizards massively biting themselves in the tails. It all started when CJ whined about "Children on crack" at Digg.com attacking his poor website, and that included.. that's right.. the rather old Digg entry of LGF Watch! (link: http://littlegreenfootballs.com/article/30336_Now_at_Digg-_Children_on_Crack )

Here we go again at Digg.com: Digg - LGF Watch - Keeping an eye on those rabid racists at Little Green Footballs.

But wait! There’s more: Digg / lgfuckballs.

Complain to Digg about this ongoing abuse of their site at: abuse@digg.com.
Apparently Chuckie wasn't capable of realizing that the LGF Watch entry has been submitted over 1.5 years ago, otherwise he wouldn't be saying "Here we go again". Notice how the entry has been infested with lizards trying to have some fun.

But that's not all, the comments that ensued on that thread are just hilarious..
#55 Sharmuta

You know- when you have nothing better to do with your time than stalk a website, you might really want to consider therapy.
Uh-huh..
#56 Charles

They've been doing it for years. And they've also registered numerous accounts at LGF, and tried to pose as friends of the site until they're exposed and blocked. It's beyond insane. I suspect that there is money behind this.
If you scroll waaay down the main LGF Watch page:

"Do you want to advertise on LGF Watch and help a good cause? All revenue is donated to The International Red Cross (CDN$525 so far...)"

Beside that, no.. we're not getting any money for this. Speaking about money..
#60 JammieWearingFool

It's quite pathetic.

There's also some loser out there who calls his site Instaputz, and he obsesses over Glenn Reynolds.

Seriously, you have to have no talent whatsoever to just sit around and blog other people's material.
Right, because when Charles isn't busy "stalking" the Obama website, he is most certainly not grabbing other peoples' material and adding only 7 or 8 words of original content. No sir, Chuckles is very talented indeed.
#143 Charles
If there isn't money behind the stalkers, they're even crazier than I thought.

Hang on, I thought this relationship worked the other way round.

re: #143 Charles

Charles, you have posted stuff against the Obamination. That makes you fair game for Soros and fiends. You also take well aimed shots at the Religion of pieces, which makes you the enemy of 1 billion fanatics and fanatic supporters.
Only a lizard will tell you that 1 billion Muslims are fanatics or support fanatics. (LGFers aren't anti-Muslim, nooo..). Funny that I don't feel like one..

Just another day out at LGF..

Charles J {hearts} Mel P

Charles Johnson: "If there’s any hope for the Sceptered Isle, it’s going to come from people like Melanie (Phillips)."

Would that be the same Melanie Phillips who believes that evolution is "merely a theory," that "urgent questions about the (MMR) vaccine’s safety remain unanswered," and that global warming is "one of the greatest scientific scams of the modern age"?

Nice idea of hope you got, Chuckie.

CJ cherries

Recently a poll was posted on the MSNBC website asking: "Do you believe President Bush's actions justify impeachment?". The vast majority of the participants said "Yes".

Soon enough, Chuckles produced an ingenious statement:

"Never mind that there is absolutely no legal basis for even asking the question"

Right, because it's called freedom of thought and stating one's honest opinion. And apparently in LGF-land, it's not legal.

CHARLES CAN'T COUNT...AND HE CAN'T READ.

There's a new Obama flap in town and this one is about an anti-Semitic post that appeared on the portion of Obama's campaign site that's open to the public. Charles offers this nugget:

There are hundreds, possibly thousands, of posts that refer to the “Jewish lobby” at the Obama site. I stopped looking at the results on page 10.

The Jed Report does a nice take down of this claim in "LGF is crying wolf and it ticks me off" and here are the main findings:

- There were one hundred posts (10 posts per page, 10 pages.) Not "hundreds," not "thousands," but one hundred.

-Only 9 of the 100 posts actually used the phrase "Jewish Lobby"

-5 of these 9 posts could be potentially be considered antisemitic (a, b, c, d, e)

-And 2 of them were actually statements against antisemitsm (f, g)

-Many of the remaining 91 posts were written by Jews in praise of Barack Obama. My favorite favorite one featured a pro-Obama video from Rabbi Samuel Gordon from Wilmette, Illinois.

Do Lizards Just Ignore the Zappa Quotes?

I often wonder about the response of the LGFers to the daily quotes posted under "frank says" by Charles Johnson. I realize that I probably know the least of anyone posting here about Charles personally, but I am aware that he was a musician of some sort prior to his desire to start blogging daily about Islam (and whatever pleases his 'lizards'), and apparently remains a fan of Jazz as well as of Frank Zappa. (Please pardon my ignorance of Charles' early history here.)

What startles me is that Zappa was rather profuse not only as a musician and producer but also with books and sharing his political views from interviews to testimony to the U.S. Senate. That I remember well. According to the Wikipedia article on Zappa,

Zappa was a self-proclaimed "practical conservative", an avowed supporter of capitalism and independent business.[5] He was also a strident critic of mainstream education and organized religion.[6] Zappa was a forthright and passionate advocate for freedom of speech and the abolition of censorship, and his work embodied his skeptical view of established political processes and structures.

OK, discussions of the late musician's statements could lead one all over the map. Do they reflect Charles' views is more to the point, and what do the more right-wing lizards who would probably fall over at some of Zappa's more provocative statements and lyrics think when Charles posts his "frank says" segment at the bottom of the right sidebar? Many lizards are more of the Libertarian views politically, but the majority would probably view today's Zappa quote regarding Ronald Reagan winning the office of President of The U.S.A.?

Had he posted that quote in an open thread instead of one today from none other than Niccolo Machiavelli, there'd be mass outrage over the statement, as many at LGF are in the "deify Reagan" category. Do note the quote from Zappa's testimony against the PMRC in the segment on the Wiki page starting with "1980s". Typically Zappa, a very intelligent take on Tipper Gore's old terror of the '80s which was also provocative. He thrived on being provocative and stretching the limits, hence popularity of his books and the man himself among people who can really stand very little of his music.

So why do the lizards not get all up in arms over the more political Zappa quotes (They do change, if you reload LGF the quote will be different)? Just because "it's Charles' living room"? Or because Charles sticks them at the bottom of a sidebar? Which side of Charles Johnson is still in there? Anyone other than the guy who just overuses the "throwing so-and-so under the bus" analogy ad nauseum?

Un-American beards

Charles Johnson has now decided he's the arbiter of beards! CJ laments that "(Khalid Sheikh Mohammed) has been ... allowed to grow his beard to a ridiculous length." Outrageous! There's an acceptable beard length and an unacceptable beard length, and KSM has definitely crossed the line!

In other news, Charles Johnson finds he has more in common with the Taliban than previously thought...

Charles, This Bird, He Cannot CHANGE(!!!)--or, Charles liveblogs Obama's Victory Speech

http://littlegreenfootballs.com/article/30179_Obama_Speaks-_Delayed_Due_to_Confusion/comments/#ctop

This is just too funny. Charles is in the comments on his own Obama Victory Speech thread having some sort of fit, unable to offer anything more than grunts in comment form. Not that the other lizards aren't, such as this one who is already planning ahead:

#457 Palandine 6/03/08 7:30:43 pm reply quote 3

Sigh.

In the very scary hypothetical that this guy manages to win, it's wise to

1. Start paying down credit card debt, car payments, mortgages, student loans, etc. (always a good idea anyway).
2. Buy any rifles (and ammo, scopes, slings, etc.) you'd been thinking about buying. He won't let the mask fall for the first 100 days, so he won't try any bans beore then.
3. He can't raise taxes in 2009--too early to get a budget in.
4. Save up your money, get an emergency fund, and load up on beans, bullets, and band-aids. Between cap and trade tax increases and an unwillingness to find energy sources in our own country, money's going to get tight, businesses will go to business-friendly countries, and the economy will go in the dumper.

Be Prepared! I took an oath, so if he wins I have to respect him as my Commander-in-Chief, but it doesn't mean I don't see what a disaster we're heading for. I was a kid during the Carter years, and will never forget. We're going to look back on the Carter years as the god old days.

But even better, though probably scrambling to think up what to post now (despite claiming confusion in the Obama camp: "Imagine how the Obama camp is scrambling to figure out how to respond to Hillary Clinton’s non-exit.")

I figure he'll add a few more yet tonight, but here is the brilliant and insightful live-blogging by Charles on Obama's historic victory speech. More insight and intelligence are hard to find on political blogs these days, truly:

Ahh, there you go. I'm sure Charles is still throwing them out there (I skipped quite a bit of the procession, actually). No, wait he has started a new thread....unable to come up with any analysis off the cuff on his own aside from grunts, Charles has begun a new thread linking to this Wiki article, with the few post words:
"Change. Hope. Health care for all, and make the evil corporations pay for it. Surrender in Iraq.

America First!

Barack Obama’s victory speech in a nutshell."

And thus ends my live-blogging of Charles Johnson's live-blogging of Obama's Historic Victory (finally) Speech. If you take away nothing of value from this post, well then I've done my job in accurately reporting on LGF tonight.
