Helping Charles find his place

The lizard-king asks (in response to a pretty non-descript piece Chicago Sun Times)...

"Right-wing.” Don’t you wish LGF was that easy to classify(?)
Ok, Charles you have a point. To describe your site and the bunch of genocidalist racist morons you have as commenters as 'right-wing' is quite misleading. It insults the decent right-wingers, the ones that don't want to nuke Mecca, the ones who don't want to put Muslims in camps, the ones who don't want to start wars every five minutes, the ones who don't mock the tragic loss of life in Palestine, the ones who don't charge around the internet like a group of sycophantic brownshirts, the ones who don't use their alleged 'support' for Israel to justify anti-Arab racism, the ones who don't cheer the death of journalists and peace activists, the ones who don't make death threats, the ones who don't see 9/11 as the coming of armageddon, the ones who......you get the drift.

So rather than "right-wing" how about the more apt "bigoted genocidalist"?

How about 'Chauvinistic Jingoist'?

Your attempts to malign LGF and its author are really pathetic! You say outrageous things that are unsupported by facts. Are you just trying to get people to come to your site? Is this an attempt to amp up traffic?

You will be consigned to the ash-heap of history along with others of your ilk.

I'm a Democrat, think W is pretty much an idiot, and I read LGF on a regular basis. Charles puts up links to stories that aren't covered in the mainstream media.

I haven't seen Charles say anything that I'd classify as hateful. I'd say the same about MOST of the commenters.

I hear you. Some short political quiz I took over the net a while ago classified me as a moderate, but on the border to being right wing. And that, although I sympathize much more with the left, and LGF succeeded in boosting that sympathy even more.

How about shadowy nuclear meltdown warthogs, agent provocateurs of totalitarianism, Zionist subserviants, McStarbuckyMart industrialists, Jew-bunny hugging IDF informants, Republican party egg-layers!

The definition of a racist is somebody who is winning an argument with a liberal.

It's funny is how many "Democrats" come out and support Johnson when someone calls him out on his far-right neo-con views. I'm a right leaning libertarian, yet I've lost count at how many times I've been called a Moonbat, leftist Marxist, Dhimmicrat or some other obvious term when I've espoused views to LGF'ers that aren't 100% in support of Republicans or the war.

It's also funny how Rush Limbaugh called himself a conservative proudly in the 90s and turned liberal into a curse word of sorts and how it has reversed itself in this decade since Fox News backed away from the term in trying to present itself as "fair and balanced".

Thus far LGF Watch hasn't contributed anything useful to the discussion. Perhaps I am missing it. Or perhaps there's nothing here.

That is something Charles does perfectly (one of the few things he's good at, unlike MySQL). He's all about playing the victim, and his mindless bigoted followers just get more revved up everytime he does. The whole world is out to get Charles.

He's playing them like a fiddle, the saps.

Rob, If you're counting me as a quote/unquote Democrate based on my comment above, I can count on one hand (maybe two) the number of times I've voted for an R. I haven't missed an election since 1991.

There's nothing wrong with getting info from LGF, just like there's nothing wrong with getting info from DKos. It's just information and it's up to each of us to draw our own conclusions.

If you read only info that you agree with, you never see other sides to a story.

Whats the matter you too afraid to allow unmoderated comments

Kind of pathetic - basing an entire blog on watching someone else's blog. Maybe create your own identity?

It is interesting that the brood who populate LGF and disperse like the flying monkies they are to protect their master, never really bother to refute the "evil" material that offends them so deeply.

They just dutifuly vomit witty sentiments like "[t]he definition of a racist is somebody who is winning an argument with a liberal," and then run back to the mothership to report on how they totally pwned the offending site.

One wonders how Burger King functions so well when all of its employees are posting at LGF all day.

Troll site. Why is it that people like this are always followers and not leaders? Is it a lack of original ideas? It must be a miserable existence to constantly follow someone (LGF) in their footsteps. Of course, running a tribute website is cheaper than therapy.

"If you read only info that you agree with, you never see other sides to a story."

While I can agree with that sentiment, LGf seem to be primarily made up of three types of content:

#1 Islam is bad and destroying the world

#2 Leftists are bad and destroying the world

#3 People are talking bad about Charles Johnson (who isn't a right-winger, contrary to all posts related to item #2), here's the link to go spam their comments section

"Kind of pathetic - basing an entire blog on watching someone else's blog."

Hard to argue with that. Oh, well, everyone's entitled to do their own thing on-line, lame as it may seem to the rest of us.

What a predictable bore ....

Ken McCracken said...

Heh, I doubt anyone would even come to this blog if Charles Johnson didn't take amused pity on it and link to it from time to time.

P.S. - I do agree LGF's little redirect stunt was pretty lame, however. I mean, what's the point of that? Someone's screwing with me so I'll screw with them back? Hardly seems likely to lead to anything productive.

For the life of me I can't understand why bloggers who don't like each other don't just leave each other alone. Then again, I'm not a blogger, so maybe I don't have the right mindset!

Though I won't be back, I wish you the best with your site.

A LGFer womders about stuff...

"Seriously, it is hard to figure out whether the situation is:

(a) Iranian propaganda to make it look like terrified soldiers, in fear of their lives, were being well treated, or

(b) A bunch of soldiers with nearly non-existent martial spirit were in fact well-treated, as Iran says, and only now are modifying their story to fit their post-release needs

Still haven't sorted it out. Have to admit, they certainly don't look like their under huge duress. Maybe a little duress, but definitely not "extreme torture and threats of death" duress."

You're findng it hard to figure out dude because you're a moron.

"They don't look under stress"

Hello? are these the same LGF posters who for years have been telling us what bloodthirsty, barbaric monsters Muslims are?

Another LGFer gets philosophical:

"Not exactly "Bridge on the River Kwai", is it?"

That's right, moron, being one of just 15 people captured and imprisoned by a country you are not at war with and threatened with 7 years in jail for an alledged criminal offence (with the promise of much worse to come than a "mere" jail sentance) is NOTHING like the Bridge on the River Kwai or the Second world war or ww2 POWS in the Far East. Or Vietnam.

Poor LGFers, first they play their Xbox war games, then they go and see 300 then they get all upset when life doesn't play out like their entertainment.

To the LGFers who think the Brits had an easy time and are sarcastically asking "Where can I join the British Navy?", why not join the US Army, instead?

You can kill ragheads all day long, perhaps get involved in a bit of gang rape and murder, maybe kill some Brits in a bit of friendly fire and, of course, you'll be just like your fave movie hero should you ever be captured.

What's stopping you enrolling?

Wow, just wanted you to know that if you read up on bloggers T&C's about the flag button that they are aware of 'mob mentality' mass flaggings and generally don't act on them so basically all you lizards have just been wasting your time. You can blame your cult leader for that one, as I don't believe for one minute he hadn't read bloggers T&C's.

Lol. LGF flash mob!

LGFers think this site is worthless but they still insist on booting the door open, marching in and offering their valued opinions here.
