Playing with children
One of the most despicable facets of Charles Johnson's weblog, Little Green Footballs, is that he uses it to demonize a whole people - men, women and children alike.
By making it appear as if even the youngest Palestinian is a potential terrorist threat, Johnson can justify their indiscriminate slaughter in a war they never asked for.
Occasionally, though, even LGF will remain silent when a particularly grim case of injustice against Palestinians surfaces that cannot - by any stretch of the imagination - be blamed on the victim.
Such as the story of Marya Aman.

You're having a laugh...
Summer is so nice and LGF is so dull that we rarely get round to reading that dreary site these days. So instead, from our email inbox, two little web items that might be of interest:

STRETCH K-PAD, formerly David Gregory.
A few months ago K-PAD performed a subservient mating dance with Alpha male Rove. Today, on our liberal teevees, K-PAD shows the stuff he's made of -- wet tissue:
MR. GREGORY: It’s not about it being a tough war. It’s the handling of the war.
MR. ROVE: May I finish? I understand, and I’m going to get to your question, if you wouldn’t interrupt.
MR. GREGORY: OK.
MR. ROVE: Think about a year ago. We had the leader of the Democratic Party in the Senate say Anbar province is gone, the war is lost. And today we know from every report that Anbar province, because of the—(BLAH BLAH DECIDERS PLAN IS GREAT SUCCESS)
.... Let’s have the ability to stand back and understand that wars are difficult.
MR. GREGORY: Mm-hmm.
Quite a mouthful there, K-PAD.

Getting round to the important stuff
After spending all day selectively posting about Wikipedia edits he finds amusing, Charles Johnson eventually got round to checking LGFWatch and must have been a little bit embarrassed, or else he wouldn't have posted about the bombing in northern Iraq.
So, how does he square this act of ethnic cleansing with the great optimism about the Iraq war he has been displaying so far? He doesn't. No analysis, no reflection, just pointless Californian platitudes...

Desperate for hits?
First it was digg.com, now Wikipedia (so much so it's now called Wiki-Gate in wingnut world).
Who'll be next on the list for Charles Johnson and swivel-eyed loons online jihad?
PS As noted below, the Iraq War's deadliest bombings killed 500, but nice to see Chuckie has the big controversy in his sights.

Deadly silence
Although Charles is currently jerking himself into a lather over Wikipedia edits (what's YOUR IP, Johnson?), he did manage to write about an attempted bomb attack in Morocco, and the torching of a California mosque.
Is the great lizard finally becoming aware of the real world?
Not so. Witness his total silence on the killing of nearly 200 people in American Occupied Iraq last night.

Charles Johnson: Looking the other way
When Charles Johnson reports blogs about events in the real world, you can be sure he's only going to talk about half the story:
Schools opening in Baghdad, not schools being bombed.
Corrupt Democrats, not corrupt Republicans.
Media errors, not military errors.
For the past week or so CJ has been on the case of The New Republic and Scott Beauchamp, a soldier who apparently embellished some of his articles for the magazine.
The story is a feast for Wingnut dittoheads like Johnson, because in one fell swoop it neatly makes all bad news out of Iraq look like a lie.
Woe if anyone were to mention another series of reports from Iraq, in another 'leftie rag' (this time The Nation), which can't be so easily dismissed. Don't expect to read about it on LGF...

A little news roundup
Pamela and Chuckie's children come home to roost: Arab boy bound & beaten in class, suit says
Don't expect this news to appear (unspun) on LGF: Most Muslims reject suicide bombings
And an LGFer finally shows some sanity:
#39 WrathOfG-d
re: #26 Burkha, Flies and a Shiekh
There is absolutely ZERO reason to believe that the person that committed the Space Shuttle Sabotage was a Muslim.
Its this kneejerk, stupid, anti-Muslim reaction that gives LGF a bad name & takes away any credability we, who are concerned about the ACTUAL Islamist threat against the West, have!
You sound like someone with BDS. "What? Someone crashed their car into a home? ....I bet it was a Muslim?" "I stubbed my toe, I bet a Muslim put the chair there."
(hat tips to all who deserve them)
