When hypocrites blog

Charles seems mightily offended that Crooks and Liars are suggesting he got his Zombies to freep their poll.

What a surprise! The crackheads at Crooks and Liars are lying again, saying I had my “zombies” freep their poll. And that makes us indistinguishable from the Kremlin: Little taste of Russia: Little Green Footballs removes Ron Paul from their GOP Poll for “gaming” reasons then “games” C&L’s Poll.

Of course, I never told a single LGF reader to do anything with their poll. Go ahead. Search LGF. You won’t find that, because it doesn’t exist, except in their fevered semi-brains. OK, zombies, calm down. There are no brains at Crooks and Liars, I was kidding.

But that’s why they’re called Crooks and Liars. (And I fully expected this kind of moronic counterattack, by the way.)

Note to the crack web team at Liars: If you don’t want people to “freep” your poll, try writing your own instead of using a free poll host that has no safeguards at all. Just because you’re incapable of doing anything about it when your polls are stacked doesn’t mean everyone has to be that stupid.

The Liars web team has closed the comments for the thread linked above. Again. Pwned!
Somebody remind how old this man is again? This sounds like a hysterical teenage girl obsessing over what her friends are saying about her in other classes.

Anyway, the thought that people could believe that Charles condones such actions as freeping upsets him greatly. It seems he goes into tantrum mode at the very suggestion.

In other news, on the same day as the post above we have this...

The leftist-Islamist axis at one of the most out-of-control campuses in America, UC Irvine, has put up a poll at PetitionsOnline denouncing Islamofascism Awareness Week, with the run-on title: Islamo Fascism Awareness is Week is a Cover for Politicized Attacks on the Foundations of Academic Freedom at UCI and Across the Nation.

Currently the petition has 165 signatures. That seems kind of low, doesn’t it? Maybe we should help them out?
I wonder where Crooks & Liars would get the idea that Charles would freep their poll?

(...and it's not as if Charles hasn't got previous)

i saw this yesterday, how can chucklesnot see his own idiocy, when those two posts are made on the same day. the dissonance is either symbolic of deep seeded mental problems on chucks behalf, or there is more than one person doing his blogging and hence chuckles.

Oh, how ironic, considering that LGF Watch reads like nothing more than girls at a slumber party ragging on that "stuck up popular girl" they refused to invite.

Exactly how does it read like that?

Are LGFW sending people over to other sites to deliberately throw out polls, to add bogus signatures, to act as trolls, to throw around abuse? Are LGFW complaining when others do the same to them? Are they displaying jaw dropping hypocrisy? Are they middle-aged pony-tailed bigots using terms like 'pwned'?

I don't think so somehow.

Anyway nice of you to comment, how about addressing the topic, ie Charles Johnsons hypocrisy?

Freep(ing) is a term that is really pretty exclusive to Free Republic, so if you aren't engaging in it through a FR thread, I don't believe it can be officially called "freeping".

LGFers are big enough now they should have their own phraseology.

to be fair it was C&L and Charles who used the phrase

"A great many Westerners do not see the clear distinction between Islam and Islamism (Islamofascism). They need to understand that the difference between Islam and Islamism (Islamofascism) is the same as the difference between Christianity and Christian Identity Movement (White Supremacy Movement)."

And you're seriously expecting THESE people to show this difference??

Wow.. It's like telling me to visit an introductory lecture on Judaism by Prof. Dr. A. Hitler.

THESE people DO show this difference. But just others choose to ignore that fact, so they can bash them.

The Sphinx said...

Funny.. I don't remember Ann Coulter or Robert Spencer ever being arsed to learn the difference themselves, just to note a few extreme examples.

Saying Islam itself is violent to the core, like many of these do, is not exactly my understanding of differentiating between real Islam, and "Islamism". I'd rather put that under the category of spreading misinformation and lies.
And I don't need such ignorant people trying to tell me what I already know, apart from failing miserably at that.

Frankly, THEY are the ones who only bash and ignore the truth. How else would you explain Coulter's extremely bigoted and racist slurs, that target not only terrorists, but your average Muslim and/or Arab?

Strikes me as strange that you, who call yourself Muslim, didn't notice that.

That’s probably because you haven’t read any of their books. How can you remember something that you don’t know? But if you don’t know about something, that doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.

I know that Rob Spencer isn't really the expert he claims to be, judging by his heavily flawed blog posts and "facts" about Islam that he claims to have learned over the years.

As for Ann Coulter.. No comment. Her own filthy tongue speaks for itself.

Oh, you do, don’t you? I guess that makes it official. From now we will defer to your extensive expertise on Islam. The more ignorant people are, the more authoritative their opinions sound.

I never said I was the ultimate Islamic scholar, but even regardless of that I know my own religion enough to find lots of lies and misinformation on his site. I think this makes it even more shameful to the guy that a young Muslim without a formal religious education can point all this out.

"The more ignorant people are, the more authoritative their opinions sound."

I guess your statement holds there pretty nicely, as Rob claims authority as an 'expert' on Islam, yet repeats all the stereotypical mistakes that I'd only expect from people with only a handful of semi-knowledge.

And according to the guy, there IS no difference between Islam and Islamism. He considers the ideology as a whole to be a hateful and rotten-to-the-core thing that is worthy of being abolished.
And yet you congratulate and applaud him and his likes for raising awareness about "Islamofascism" and teaching people the difference between that and real Islam?

I'll refer to my Prof. Hitler analogy and bid you a good day. I don't need to waste my time more on this.

Again, just because you say so, it doesn't make it true. All it proves that you never read his books.
