Charles Johnson: Twisting and shouting

While Charles himself continues to play down the high toll the campaign in Iraq has taken on US service members' lives, he accuses 'peace groups of "celebrating" their deaths.

Now let's see...

"United for Peace and Justice, a coalition of more than 1,300 U.S. peace groups, urged demonstrators to wear black armbands or ribbons with the number 3,000 in white print and to phone radio stations and write letters to newspapers to call attention to the death toll."

Does Charles normally celebrate with a black ribbon and a silent vigil? Do his readers really believe this shit?

And in all his posts about the 3,000th soldier dying in Iraq, not once has CJ bothered to justify their sacrifice. That tells you something about the strength of his arguments.

"A small selection of images from the worldwide cruel slaughter of animals that takes place during the Muslim Eid al-Adha festival: The Eid Festival Around The World - Graphic Photos.

You won’t have to be a member of PETA to feel ill after looking at these photos. Don’t click if the stomach is weak.

Previously at LGF:
Hundreds of Muslims Injure Selves in Turkish Animal Sacrifices."

I think is a good post to take on for its biggotted overtones. Consider how "humanely" animals are treated on the average industrial farm in the US... and CJ is complaining about ONE day amongst muslims.

What's especially ironic is the supposed outrage at a group like PETA for not recognizing this, when this same kind of cruelty goes on daily in the USA. Not that I'm vegetarian or anything, but if you feel disgusted at the sight of people slashing a few cows ONE day you should be sickened by the site of industrial farming in the US.

But of course no LGFer should be bothered to feel any twinge of guilt over this, better to just lob stones and muslims and talk about how much more "modern" we are.

Johnson is inventing a bizarre reality: how does a demonstration become a celebration? So his posse are supposed to really believe that left-wing lunatics are on the streets celebrating the deaths of their soldiers? He's slipping further into a cognitive quagmire where reality gives way to an absurd rightwing mindset.
