The F word

Here's a helpful tip for anyone who runs a blog and hopes to earn money as an Amazon affiliate: Watch your language.

For example, including the word "fascists" in a blog post can have unintended results:

This is a screenshot from LGF, and what you see there on the right is an ad for a book called American Fascists: The Christian Right and the War on America.

Which is probably not the sort of book Charles Johnson would choose to recommend to his readers if he were inclined to exert any sort of control over his Amazon ads, which -- despite his constant and obsessive monitoring of his blog and discussions thereof all over the interweb -- he apparently isn't.

A side note: Whatever happened to Pajamas Media's ad network, anyway? $7 million spent, and they're now reduced to using Google and Amazon ads like everyone else.

Charles and the Liztards just had a minor kerfuffle about the AP using the term "Prophet Muhammad", Charles sneeringly saying: "Notice: AP uses “the Prophet Muhammad” as if it’s an established fact."

I wonder who else uses "prophet Muhammed" "as if it's an established fact"?

That's absolutely priceless. I'm saving that pic as a souvenir..
Reminds me that a while back, I had Google text ads on my blog, that started displaying "Support Israel!" and stuff like that, because I posted some rants on Zionism. Needless to say, the ads were gone very soon.

I believe some Reuters photographer cloned it out of the picture.

I'm having some trouble understanding this whole thing.

A public figure on a book tour has a photo taken with some guy who, while her political enemy, also has a huge readership (some of whom may buy Malkin's book if only to read and denounce it).

Where's the outrage coming from?

I'm sure Al Franken will pose with Bryan Preston on his next book tour if Preston wants to.
