The blame game

"What Media Bias" asks Charles in relation to this headline,

Palestinians blame Israel for missile hit

Good question Charles. Where is the media bias in stating the fact that the Palestinians blamed Israel?

There may be media bias, there may not be. As I read Charles' post, his point is this. The article makes it clear that the Palestinians believe it was the Israelis who launched the missle, and the Israelis believe (with an assertion of evidence) that it was the Palestinians.

So then why does the headline report only the Palestinian accusation? A strictly neutral observer could have phrased the headline in a more balanced way. "Accusations Fly over Missle Attack." "Palestinians, Israelis, Trade Blame over Missle Hit."

As it stands, the casual reader scanning the page for the headlines sees only that the Palestinians made an accusation.

Really, is this not obvious to you? Again, there may be other reasons besides "media bias" for how the headline was phrased, but can you really not see the point Charles is making?

Could it be that they made the accusation first? Or is that too conspiritorial for you? It's a bit more logical that you lead with the beginning of the story don't you think.

Oh we can see the point Charles is making, I just happen to think it's horseshit. Charles thinks there is an instant bias against the Israeli's by the MSM, therefore he picks at every headline. Even ones without bias.

I'm sure Charles appreciates you coming over here and attempting to correct LGFW and others who think he's a petty little hatemonger. Now go back to LGF and discuss the 'Muslim problem' with all the other wannabe blackshirts.
