Can anybody explain what preacher's daughter Condy Rice meant when asked to say a few words from the pulpit on Sunday (at a safe distance from NO) she said: "The Lord Jesus Christ is going to come on time.If we just wait."

Was this a way of passing off the tardiness of the Bush administration in dealing with the situation? Surely, it was not JC that those left behind in NO were waiting for -- or was it? Will we soon see Bush standing by the Mississippi doing the Feeding the Five Thousand gig with one loaf and a can of sardines. Hallelujah

PS I like the list in the main post, detailing the best blogs to visit for Katrina information. I especially like the fact that the author has included Daily Kos as one of the best. Another thing for the DK obsessive Charles Johnson to seethe over. Poor Chuckie.
