Bomb suspect had 'no terror link'

The Italian Police have announced that the London bombing suspect Osman Hussein had no links to large terrorist organisations. This again points to the second group of bombers being opportunists rather than Al-Qaeda agents.

One of the men suspected of trying to bomb the London transport system on 21 July had no links to large terrorist organisations, Italian police believe.
Officers in Rome said Ethiopian-born Osman Hussain, also known as Hamdi Isaac, 27, had lied about his background to gain a UK passport.

Italian judges have two months to decide whether he should be extradited.

Meanwhile, police in the UK are maintaining a high-profile security operation in case of another attack.

LGF Watch says: "Bomb suspect had 'no terror link' and "The Italian Police have announced that the London bombing suspect Osman Hussein had no links to large terrorist organisations."

The linked article says: Two of Hussain's brothers have also been arrested and questioned by police in Italy, but Mr de Stefano said it appeared there were no links to larger international terrorist organisations.

He said Italian police had enjoyed close co-operation with the Metropolitan Police during the inquiry and were still receiving information about the suspects.

Interesting.

I wonder what LGF Watch would have to say if Charles played fast and loose with a quote like that.

I think you'll find the Italian Police said that and also the paper that this story is sourced from.

Would you repeat that in English, and find the quote from the Italian Police other than the one I quoted? The one where it says the suspect has no terror link, that is.
