Some clerics in Britain do say things that go against equality, secularism, tolerance and even human rights and basic freedoms. They should be criticised, called out and stopped, lest they destabilize a society that has enough problems already.
they do indeed....but to describe it as 'Britain's Enormous Problem' is ridiculous. The Times piece itself is flawed in the extreme and to make out it's some kind of catastrophe whilst there are thousands dying in wars Charles Johnson happily cheerleads is a bit rich, no? Chutzpah on his part you might say.

Thinking that a war is morally justified is one thing; being happy that that same war is going on is quite another. Can you please cite an example of Charles Johnson "happily chearleding" a war?
Well, flaming everybody who opposes the war, and ridiculing peace activists in the site's logo is a start.
