Charles Johnson has been displaying a weird obsession with counting how many visits he's getting from sites that criticize LGF.
Of course there's one site that regularly links to the lizard cesspool: LGF Watch. For five years we've been fearlessly linking to LGF, highlighting the lunacy that passes for 'political blogging' among the Californian wingnut fraternity. But Charles will never know how many visits he's getting from here. Why? Because the coward reroutes all traffic from LGF Watch to the website of the Israeli Defense Force. And people who use the de-refer tool for Firefox to foil his freaky forwarding fetish don't show up in the stats as having come from LGF Watch.
This, incidentally, might also be why the hit count that CJ is registering from other sites is so low: people have figured out his sneaky little trick and turned the tables...

Not true. He can easily count the traffic that you've sent to him. Your links still hit his servers -- he just chooses to not serve a page from LGF in response.

No he can't. We all know not to bothering clicking a link to there from here. My visits over there are all because of this site, or other sites that occasionally mock him, and he has no way of telling where I'm coming from.

He still won't figure out how to count the hits that come from copying and pasting a link of his into a new browser, like many people here have already gotten used to. So whatever hit number he gets from here is too low.
That Media Matters post was mostly about Malkin and must have had a few dozen links in it, of which LGF was only one of them. I'm not really sure what CJ was expecting there, but hey, its a solid line of defense and certainly worthy of a thread. lol
Hey LGFW , can we switch the subject little and talk about the blunt and obvious racism at Michelle Malkin? Stuffs posted sound exactly like a KKK kind of site except with epithets.
Disgusting demagogue Sharpton leads “Kill the Police” rally: When will media and politicos disavow this agent of hate?
Would anyone here post about this? because somebody should expose those racists, they even worse than LGF racists, they target every non-white. and the ironic thing is Michelle is not white, but that does not mean she is not racist.
Fox news and other media outlets should not let her write or talk for them, shame on US media for continuing hiring such person.
One aspect I dislike about Little Green Footballs is the use of the word "moonbat". Although "moonbat" is intended as a shorthand epithet, it actually says more about the speaker's bias than anything else. Likewise, I hope that detractors of Little Green Footballs would refrain from using the epithet "wingnut". Although the word "wingnut" is a shorthand epithet, it also says more about the speaker's bias than anything else.
I am reasonably sure that most people who vote in America don't know what the words "wingnut" and "moonbat" mean and don't care. Moreover, there are those who are fluent in internet jargon who prefer plain English over the use of obscure political jargon.
Little Green Footballs is the kind of filthy hate forum that no reputable politician would knowingly put on the “weblinks” page for his campaign web site. Given how Charles Johnson is to the Right what Jeremiah Wright is to the Left, and given that LGF Watch is an excellent source of information documenting the extremism of Charles Johnson, it behooves this web site to refrain from using jargon that would not be understood by the average citizen.
Malkin cannot make a video with an entire crew backing her up, not to mention a teleprompter to aid her. Yes, she uses one. Watch her eyes. It's blatantly obvious. With all of that going on, it's hard for me to even hear the garbage she spews. Who knows, maybe Charles will start a new feature such as "The LGF Interview" or a radio show such as most blogs in his subject area. Then perhaps Malkin will be a guest. Until then, I doubt I'll post on her here.
Sphinx--true, he won't know. But as long as he is more concerned with traffic and where it comes from, a trap I've seen several "big bloggers" fall into, then he's become rather a slave to the blog he runs. I will NEVER understand the obsession with "traffic" some of these folks fall into.
@Anon 8:39 - Excellent point. Unfortunately, we're stuck with the terms "wingnut" and "moonbat," not to mention the odious contraction "blog" itself. But yes, just like the widespread use of "Democrat" as an adjective, which instantly marks the writer as a mindless conservabot, they do say quite a bit more about the writer than about the subject.
