This week in LGF history

First in an occasional series... if we feel like it.

Since we seem to be at a bit of a loss as far as new LGF-related content is concerned, here's a little trip down memory lane.

June 17, 2008 -- Charles, utterly oblivious to irony, accuses Markos Moulitsas Zúñiga of being "mean-spirited, dishonest, and vicious."

June 26, 2007 -- Charles "DailyKosWatch" Johnson complains that not enough people are bashing left-wing blogs on a regular basis.

June 20, 2006 -- Charles falsely accuses the MSM of ignoring a massive anti-terror march in Madrid.

June 23, 2005 -- Charles unquestioningly repeats a blog-sourced accusation that a tourist arrested in Mexico is a "Baja Jihadi," then is forced to retract same.

June 22, 2004 -- Charles accuses the entire MSM of complicity with Islamo-fascists.

For those who are wondering why this blog exists: see above.

V,
Ironically Charles is all against what he was for. Admit it, although LGF2.0 is coming at him from the Right, You like how we have rattled Charles's cage. he now has Private threads so we don't see what he says.

I respect what you guys have done, you have turned Charles over to your way of thinking. You defeated him!

This might not fit your narrative, but the fact is that Charles Johnson is not as far from LGF2 on some issues as you'd like to think.

CJ a "radical Marxist"? Harpo, maybe. Karl, no way. Yes, he says Michelle Bachmann is nuts, but that is patently obvious to anyone with a pulse.

Anyway, we'll gladly cede our status as "the" stalker blog to you, for the time being. But as I mentioned earlier, I fully expect him to perform a double-backflip (a.k.a. a "reverse Andrew Sullivan") and revert to Neanderthalism just as soon as it seems strategically -- and especially financially -- expedient for him to do so. And where will that leave you?

Now that Charles has dropped the omg islam ball, when are you starting Harry's Place watch? It's currently looking like the front page of LGF, except with melodeon replacing jazz guitar.
