I read at a progressive blog yesterday that the site owner queried Kerry's staff about the photo & discovered that the picture is authentic, but that Kerry was giving a media interview at the time. That's why there's no one sitting around Kerry. If you look at Kerry's posture he's clearly talking to someone. The idea that he's being shunned is absolutely ridiculous. Rather, it's the nincompoop wingnut blog universe that should be shunned for their utter stupidity in trying to dredge (or should I say "Drudge") this up into a real story.
It's all much ado about nothing. If Chuck's piled on to this story he's been had.
I just found the link to the blog which authoritatively rebuts this weird "story."
