Racial Obsession?

It takes a very special kind of weasel to twist and turn a story so much that it ends up sending the exact opposite message of what any normal person would take it to mean.

Thankfully, Charles 'Poop-Scoop' Johnson is a master of the Goebbelian arts, pulling off with aplomb the astonishing conceit of portraying the first serious black contender for US President as racist.

Bravo, Charles, bravo. What next? Hilary Clinton hates women? Give it a shot. We can't wait.

Wait a minute, did Charles fabricate this truth? This Charles photoshop Obama's own words?

What's striking is not that Obama made these comments, that MSM has ignored it.

Can you imagine what MSM would happen if a Republican candidate said in the past he was "Distrustful of blacks"?

The intellectual honesty of this site is baffling.

Where did Obama say he was "distrustful of whites"? Or are you making up quotes?

...

“There was something about him that made me wary,” Obama wrote. “A little too sure of himself, maybe. And white.”

Please be honest with yourself - what would happened if a white republican candidate said that about a black person? You think Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson will stay as quiet as MSM media is to this bombshell?

Again, the intellectual honesty of this site is baffling.

Don't bother spelling out your sighs, it makes you look like a twat.

As for the allegations against Obama, yes indeed, he used the words suspicious, wary AND white.

But he did not say he was "distrustful of whites".

If you go back to what he wrote, you'll find he said "I had grown accustomed, everywhere, to suspicions between the races."

That he "wary" of his manager, and that his manager was "white".

You're reading something into that which he didn't say.

As for your equation of a white senator saying he is suspicious of blacks, and a black senator saying he was once wary of a manager who was white, I think perhaps you should go back to 'Logic 101' and 'American History 101' to understand the fundamental difference.

Every time a right wing politician or idealogue like Charles Johnson advocates racial profiling he's saying he doesn't trust someone because of his race.

"I became nervous when I found myself in line at the airport behind a man reading a Koran".

Motherfucking hell. Charles Johnson's entire existence is based on the idea that we should mistrust people based on their religion.

I'm a twat? What an intelligent observation!

You actually can post the following and not feel foolish?

The Orwellian mode you are in is mind blowing.

Take a look yourself at what you posted:

You Said:"...yes indeed, he used the words suspicious, wary AND white.

But he did not say he was "distrustful of whites".

LOL.

I am suspicious and wary about a black manager....but that can't mean I"m not distrustful toward him huh?

Here, since you don't know what wary means.

wary

adjective

2. openly distrustful and unwilling to confide [syn: leery]

WordNet® 2.1, © 2005 Princeton University

Please be honest with me and more importantly yourself, and acknowledge that at one time Obama was distrustful of whites. That doesn't mean he is a racist now, and I certainly don't think he is a racist today.

You Said:As for your equation of a white senator saying he is suspicious of blacks, and a black senator saying he was once wary of a manager who was white, I think perhaps you should go back to 'Logic 101' and 'American History 101' to understand the fundamental difference.

As I said, I don't think Obama is racist by the way, if you go back and read my posts - my bigger point was that MSM is largely silent, but you don't even have the honesty to acknowledge yourself that if a white Republican presidential candidate said that - it would be all over the news.

For the third time, the intellectual honesty of this site is baffling.

Would you care to post the full Princeton definiton of the word wary? Go on, I dare you.

The only real answer to something like this is "who gives a fuck?"

Right, double checking somebody in a airport that just came in from Afghanistan (versus say a 10 year girl from Kansas) is the same as not trusting a co-worker because of his skin color.

Motherfucking hell. Charles Johnson's entire existence is based on the idea that we should mistrust people based on their religion.

I would say a more accurate description would be to mistrust Muslim extremists.

Since you're obviously not going to post the full Princeton definition of wary, I'll do it for you:

--
# S: (adj) wary (marked by keen caution and watchful prudence) "they were wary in their movements"; "a wary glance at the black clouds"; "taught to be wary of strangers"
# S: (adj) leery, mistrustful, suspicious, untrusting, wary (openly distrustful and unwilling to confide)
--

Do you think it is "intellectually honest" (your term) to pick and choose word definitions according to how they suit your argument, and ignore the other possibilities?

Care to provide more detail on how my logic is flawed?

You said: it's something he said years ago. Moreover, it's not something he's hiding.

Right...if a Republican candidate said he was wary of Eskimos - the MSM would say nothing..

You said->Furthermore, just being "wary of whites" does not equate racism.

Really? I'm wary of X race - but that doesn't me me a racist

Wow - Orwellian newspeak in action!

You said->I think it would be a natural reaction for someone growing up in Obama's circumstances to feel this way. He has obviously grown past this wariness, and now is able to reflect on it. It's way more honest than most politicians are about their past flaws.

I agree with you here - and like I said before - I personally don't think Obama is a racist - I am pointing out that unfortunately, only white GOPs can be racist according the MSM exposure. - Robert Byrd anyone?

You said0>The anonymous liztard posting about this "bombshell" needs to get a clue. Hey liztard, you definitely seem to show a lack of empathy when you intimate that Obama was a racist over this. And it's X who's 'Orwellian', not charles? He seems to have programmed your very subconscious

Interesting, since I've said contiously that I personally don't think Obaba is a racist.

LOL

You said->Do you think it is "intellectually honest" (your term) to pick and choose word definitions according to how they suit your argument, and ignore the other possibilities?

Okay - let's use your first definition.

# S: (adj) wary (marked by keen caution and watchful prudence)

Now tell me if I'm a racist.

"I'm cautious and watchful toward Eskimos."

I'm not racist though toward Eskimos.

Wow - that totally destroyed my argument!

...and you're saying I'm not intellectually honest?

LOL

You said->And you know what, Ronald Reagan began his presidential campaign in 1980 by celebrating their murder.

Another example of disengienous liberal mudslinging. Ronald Reagon (in your own words) "celebrated the murder of civil rights works" - and hates blacks because he gave a speech about states rights in the city they were murdered?

Wow, this is how the liberal mind works. You do know that even Carter tried to paint reagan as a racist, and it totally backfired.

read about it yourself.

Dude. If you're referring to the Civil War you need to read some history.

I was referring to slavery.

As for Jim Crow. Of course America had a dark history of racism - there is no doubt about that. That was not my point though was it?

Want to know my point? Look no further then Joe Biden (and he's not even a GOPer)

Personally Reagan may not have been a racist. After all, Reagan's private life was quite different from his public life. He promoted evangelical Christianity even while he was running the country on advice from his wife's astrologer. But in public, he was the most radically white supremacist president since Woodrow Wilson as proven by the fact that he began his 1980 campaign celebrating "states righs" in Philadelphia Mississippi.

As for Jim Crow. Of course America had a dark history of racism - there is no doubt about that. That was not my point though was it?

Are you trolling or are you just stupid? The point is that Obama has every reason to mistrust whites since he was born in 1959 and Jim Crow lasted until 1964.

Anonymous said...

uh, you're talking about the man as if his MOM ISNT WHITE

All your lame analogies are totally false. Obama could have also said that he was once wary of blacks.

Would it have been a big deal? NO because the dude is HALF WHITE.

You're allowed to bash your own race, it's when you bash other races that you get into trouble.

There is no "MSM coverup". There is a jackass posting retarded comments though.

"Of course this is only going to get worse. The closer Obama gets to the White House the more white supremacists like Johnson are going to howel in outrage."

The Clintons will not allow Obama to win, so the point is moot.
