LGF: Museum of Intolerance?

Once again, Citizen Journalist Charles Johnson carefully omits an important detail in his eagerness to demolish the L3 dhimmi PC establishment.

In his indignant post about a so-called "Tunnel of Oppression" being foisted upon impressionable college students, he links to, and extensively quotes, a description of one such "tunnel" at the University of Maryland.

But he left out this bit:

The Tunnel of Oppression was loosely based off of the Museum of Tolerance in Los Angeles, CA.

The Museum of Tolerance is a program of the Simon Wiesenthal Center.

I went there in 1994, and at the time, all visitors were required to pass through a darkened tunnel containing loudspeakers that emitted a constant stream of racist, homophobic, and anti-Semitic invective. There is no mention of such a tunnel on the Museum's website now -- perhaps they had to remove it, because visitors found it too upsetting. But the museum does still include a so-called "Tolerancenter," which Charles and his minions would probably find profoundly disturbing, what with its message of tolerance and all.
