"Good."

Wrong. Doubleplusungood.

If Irving gets busted for his opinion today, do you get get busted for your opinion tomorrow?

Of course Stephen, Holocaust denial should be encouraged in Austria....

There's a big difference between somebody expressing an opinion and attempting to change recorded history for the purpose of enciting hatred and bigotry.

His 'opinion' and 'research' is printed in hardback, softback, published on the net through various neo-nazi, revisionist, racist and Islamist sources.....hardly the same as me saying that I disagree with how the war on terror is being fought, that I disagree with the policies of the state of Israel but support its right to exist and that Tony Blair is a complete and utter wanker is it?

So what? Let him publish what he will and let the rest of the world refute.

When the force of law is used to back up 'official' history, the appearance of truth has already been lost.

This is a terrible move. People used to go to jail and psych wards in Soviet Russia for speaking 'wrong' history. Is that something you want us to emulate?

What other opinions should people go to jail for?
