To everything, spin, spin, spin

Charlie J. is undoubtedly flexing his knuckles right this very moment, as preparation for writing a devastatingly snarky post to debunk, pooh-pooh, or otherwise gainsay the latest poll numbers on Our Leader's performance in office.

These numbers will displease him greatly.

1. Generally speaking, would you say things in this country are heading in the right direction, or are they off on the wrong track?

Right direction, 36 percent

Wrong track, 59 percent

2. Overall, do you approve, disapprove or have mixed feelings about the way George W. Bush is handling his job as president?

Approve, 42 percent

Disapprove, 56 percent

Obviously the American sheeple have been misled by the Biased Liberal MSM™ into accepting the Moore/Chomsky view of things.

However:
5. When it comes to handling foreign policy issues and the war on terrorism, do you approve or disapprove or have mixed feelings about the way George W. Bush is handling that issue?

Approve, 51 percent

Disapprove, 48 percent

Leaving aside the curious fact that those numbers precisely echo the results of the last Presidential election, during which the conventional wisdom proclaimed that foreign policy and terrorism issues were Our Leader's strongest point, it's fairly obvious that Charlie J.'s non-stop bleating about how the Biased Liberal MSM™ reports nothing but gloom and doom from Iraq and various other fronts in the war on Wrong-Thinking Brown People is utterly absurd.

Either the sheeple are being brainwashed by the Biased Liberal MSM™ or they aren't. Which is it, Charlie?
